[weird] need help :d

So now that you are here I want to tell my problem.

Here it is. As you see I cant see half of the floor( I can see it a bit if I move my mouse down ), I can't change my graphics and I can't hear anything or change the sound settings. Is it the drivers or something? If it is what do I do?

this happened to me, but it turned out to be just a giant lag. waiting it out fixed it for me... but if its a reoccurring thing then i dont know

 

It isn't a lag for me. I already tried installing a new driver and directx.Still doesnt work :S

 

1. u cant change music coz u have the mute box checked
2. u cant change graphics coz u have the "fixed fps" box checked (which auto adjusts graphics for u)

would also help knowing whats the last thing u did be4 this happened. try make a new char (or log another char) to see if he gets it too

directx can cause rendering issues (mostly weird water/textures etc) so grabbing 9.0c again might help unless u did already

extract, run dxsetup.exe, restart ur pc, try again

once u uncheck fixed fps u can try start the game on default graphics engine rather than advanced or try change the settings if it helps. if all ur chars do it u might wanna try repair the client and downgrade again so u know its not a corrupt file

last thing if nothing helps is to wipe aions registry entry and let it force detect ur hardware again, though thats mostly an issue when u change hardware and it doesnt realize u did that

to fix registry, goto start -> run -> regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software and delete the whole Aion entry under that. can also trash the system.cfg file from ur aion folder. next time u run the game, the registry key will get created again and detect ur hardware (+ default graphics settings)

I just needed to turn off fixed fps and mute sound at that was it. I already have directx but thanks
