Is Alienware worth it?

So, i am getting 2 new things in this summer a laptop and a desktop pc, the laptop is what i have been saving up for which is a macbook pro and my dad is getting me an alienware desktop aurora. So i built the pc using the options on the website and it is costing me around 3 thousand pounds (uk) so i am just thinking is it worth spending that much money on alienware yes i am a hardcore gamer, or should i just build my own pc?

 

No, can build the same thing for half the price if you do it yourself.

I wonder how long it will take....... at least my uncle will be able to help me out this summer when building it.

by the parts and build it on your own with a help from a shop that fixes pc's etc

 

If you got all the parts together it'd take you a few hours to fully set it up, and end up saving you hundreds of dollars.

i ordered a alienware so glad there service sucks so i took that money and bought a waaaaay better one for cheap else where.

yep alienware USED TO BE a good brand, until dell bought them and dragged their name through mud. they basically live off of the past good reputation to fill up the pcs with junk

yea i have an alienware laptop, found out the hard way till this day they havent fixed the bugs in the touch strip, the case is cheap plastic that breaks easily, even their software that controls the lighting is glitchy.

and yea then theres the question of overpriced, you pay for the brand, not for quality. as the others said, can get better parts cheaper
