    Should I go ahead and update my client through retail tonight while I'm at work, or will I have to re-download the 3.0 update through gamez if I've already updated my retail?

    Update your client through retail. You can always make another copy of your retail client and put Gamez Launcher in there.

    Make a copy of your Aion folder first in case you come home and want to play before the update starts. Then dl Aion while you are at work.

    Is there a 3.0 item.pak? So that I can tell our tech to update to 3.0 with item.pak??

    I'm afraid.... its not ready yet...... but i guess its easy for them to make it a short time.... 1 day after the update.....

    make a back up of your 2.7 client first then update, some version of 3.0 item.pak as mention in many threads are not functioning as intended so better use the default and wait for the official item.pak release
