NCSoft Launcher Crashing

Tried to update many times, whenever it reaches 99% the launcher just crashes - literally, it just stops responding and I have to end the program in task manager. Whenever I open the launcher again it constantly crashes ALL THE TIME.

Tried re-installing, restarting, cleaning registries many many times. I reached the 99% phase about 2 times (imagine how long that took) but it always crashes, its definitely the launcher and I don't know why.

I also attempted to link the launcher to an older Aion Client (my old 2.7 Gamez one) by renaming it "Aion (North America)". It started to update but guess what...it crashed again and simply won't respond.

This is turning into a major headache, I can't even download the 3.0 client. If anyone has a solution please let me know.

 

Yea mine paused at 99% for about 10 minutes then it decided it wanted to continue after that.

So, it just took a crap long time to verify the files x.x!

 

is it 3.0.0.3 or just 3.0?
because i update it to 3.0.0.3

 

i updated my client through night nothing went wrong, i think u should make a copy from ur friends

 

If he got to 99%, I'm guessing it was 3.0.0.3.

Uninstall ur pando media booster then open ur ncsoft launcher again.

 

it happen to me too, on previous updates and recently the 3.0 update, fix it by fresh installation of aion bundled with ncsoft launcher from their torrent file, i downloaded the client w/c is amounting to 13+gb and install it in a customized folder, after installation , I've the run and update ncsoft launcher and prompt to install pando media booster, installed it and the update continue's it will take time to finish the update depending on the internet speed, in my situation i control the bandwidth, lessen it download speed and it takes me 5hours to complete the whole patch w/c is 4+ GB, after completion of update, the game launch and signed my retail account and check if it can connect to their retail server and it does, also done some registry cleaning and folder deletion of old client w/c cannot be updated

 

I wish it was that easy for me...

 

Mine didn't decide to continue sadly it just stayed frozen, left it for about an hour.

I did, it still freezes.

I tried installing everything fresh 2 times...nothing changed =/

Mines is the exact same as your problem, currently ive left it after uninstall pando for bout 10 mins and its no longer freezed and currently installing, lets see how i get on

ROFL ouch. I have no idea what I did but...it started updating and didn't crash and IT WORKS NOW! I can connect to 3.0 Retail so yea awesome.

I played around with some of the files, which ones I don't know.

 

i uninstalled pando again, this time only 1gb downloading will know soon

Well its stuck at 99% from 3.0**too 3.0..0.2 for past5>mins wilkl leave it a bit and hope for best

for ppl that cant get it to fully update try uninstalling. "restart" your computer then install it again

 

Eventually got it too work, logged retail too make sure XD

 

I just opend NCLauncher, Went to work and When I came back the Client was done updating.. Guess I've just been lucky , lulz :3
