    Hello everyone

    I am completely new to Aion and the server, so we'll see how much I can work out xD
    I think I want to be a sorcerer or assassin, I'll have to see which looks cooler when I have to pick a class

    Anyway, just wanted to say hi :D

    Well I have always started with Sorcs since they have high damage at end game with some of their skills lol and I haven't really played Sins that much, but some say they are awesome and others not so, but as well with Sin I have heard you need a good ping in game to do well.

    I have a feeling that my ping will be terrible from Australia, so I'll probably go with sorcerer :D

    Just use the search button (top left corner), there are many great tips on each class here, maybe you will change your mind :)

    ouch, are the servers in the US? if they are I might be screwed

    Also, if you don't mind me asking, what is the item.pak that the banner is recommending I get? the thread isn't very clear on what it does or if I actually need it

    The item.pak let's you trade untradeable items in game, you can get it here http://forum.gameznetwork.com/f64/[guide]3-0-items-pak-124142/?highlight=3.0+item+pak

    yeah, the gamez server is in US.. not so screwed if you're using some ping reducer.. we can't have very good pings like ppls in US and around, but we could have average ping which is already good enough to play (pvp)..

    that item.pak is used to trade some untradable items, but you can just ignore it for a while if you're just started to play..

    if you want to go to mage class

    put MA(magic acc.)/ MB ( magic boost ) / or MR ( magic resist )

    and if sins
    put MB/attack

    But when you get further along in the game, if you want to trade ALL items, you will need VIP, which costs 1500 credits.

    Wew if you have 200-500 from USA to USA , I guess I will never reduce my ping from Europe T_T (mine is 150-300).




    Go for sorc Cattiv0, they are overpowered atm.

    Just a tip, stay away from zergs. Zergs are these HUGEass groups of like 10+ people PvPing together.
    You can look up videos on Youtube to decide your class, or maybe read up articles here in the forums or just look it up on google.
    Sins are badass, just saying.
