Full MA sorc vs Full MR chanter, I will resist nothing. Even with food etc. and even if they don't have magic assist, supp. of focus, or boon of strength up, they have enough base MA to ensure that the only thing that gets resisted is the odd root or aether's hold. Same goes for SM, especially once sympathetic mind is fixed.

As for cleric....

If they're MR they can't touch me. If they're full MA they don't typically have enough magical accuracy vs full MR, and even if they do their lack of MR means they have sacrificed loads of survivability to be able to hit with spells which won't typically take down another healing class. At that point I could be wearing armor with no manastones and still do a good amount of physical dps and land way more stuns and debuffs. This usually turns into a mana/godstone battle anyway though :\

Maybe u didn't saw a dps cleric in 3.0 Uk...we can have 2200 ma with mace and 2400 ma with staff + 200 ma from buff + that we can lower your mr with 600...i guess u didn't saw the dps cleric in 3.0 ^_^ And we don't need to use that cloth paper set anymore for mb because we can have 200 more mb with the new chain set. If im full buffed i can have 2400mb and 2600 ma wearing chain set...u think u can resist this? + that i can lower your mr with 600+ that i can lower your heals...and we need block agaisnt chanters but most of us are full mr just to resist the op silence(we can't resist sorcs skills anyways). Guess i should play dps cleric again since we can remove the shock even if we are silenced xD

 

so this means MR is utterly useless, it saves some petty debuffs like lockdown or temp's doomlure slowdown effect, but overall the main use of MR was against magic classes which seem to be doing pretty well with the recent MA boosts.The time you'd resist anything is a NON dps cleric with full mr which makes both of you locked in a pretty long battle till eventualy you get a dc or somebody joins in and ensures the qq of either one of you.DPS chanters feel like the thing now, with the 3.0 skill scaling and the removal of abg's 400 parry bonus you can easily slot it full atk and use scrolls for crit (should leave you at 800 + with mantras) 2.2k accuracy is enough to hit anybody who doesn't full socket block/parry/evasion and i such cases they most likely have over 3k parry /4k block/around 3-3.2k evasion with buffs.And definetely learn to weave with blessing of wind D: that thing is so op, the weaves would do 600+ damage ...

i do agree the stats here are sometimes alittle bleh
but can't expect perfection

 

what he meant was that versus me he should be able to land his stuns 50% of the time (even tho the 3sec stun is RANDOM it hit quite a lot) about stats i didn't see anything messed up besides our epic godstones.

I'm surprised nobody has flamed either one of us yet.

can barely stun him but i can para and silence the hell out him

nothing we can do about it unless everyone stopped using them like i did

zero to zero... i wouldn't stop using it since it's my only winning ticket vs sms

 

In fact I haven't. There just aren't that many clerics playing here but I would love to try one. Each time I vs cleric in the arena I can't tell if they're undergeared or just made the unfortunate mistake of socketing full MR with call lightning build.

Weaving I can do, it's having the opportunity to do so without risk of being owned in the process. That's why I try and save blessing of wind for such an opportunity. You will see in the vid that I do frequently weave when I can but probably not as much as I should.

I sort of hate attack stones. I'm trying a crit/hp build next though ^^

yeah you're right ...odd.About weaving tho : since you use MR and lockdown doesn't work on you + none of your attack chains have important effects (like glads not wanting to weave ferocious to get the wrathful strike KD faster) so weaving is pretty safe on you.The few times you started attacking me i noticed you move to the side and don't weave (and BoW was on cd) Just so you know moving to the side or backwards decreases the damage a lot D: (3:07/4:30)

 

Uhh you should look closely i can see you use your remove shock chain
you prob did it from hitting it too many times or double tapping be accident
btu i saw the animation from your long ranger remove shock skill
right before you casted recovery
