it should be aion/data/usa/items

 

Note: it has some issue running in 64bit version of any windows (xp64bit win7 64bit)


whats your OS? is it 32bit or 64bit

if you have 32bit windows please try this:
1. check if you have the default item.pak on aion/data/items, size of the file is 27+mb and not 28+mb
2. check if you have a itempack in aion/data/usa/items, Delete it or move to other location not associated with aion folder.
3. run the game via gamezlauncher or ncsoft launcher, if it works then it is solve
4. if it doesn't then try to uninstall and delete the whole folder of aion and reinstall and patch it again one more time.( do a clean install)
5. don't install yet any launcher from gamez and other, run it in unmodified launcher so that you can connect to retail server
6. after installation and patching is done it should connect to retail server( i presume you have a retail account)
7. if it cant connect to the retail then we have a system problem.
8. check if you have a correct directx, .complete .net framework(1-4 i guess?) , xna framework installed
9. run the game again after complete checking in intruction no. 7.
10. if it can connect on retail then apply the gamez launcher patch. and run it. don't mix it with other launcher that uses installation procedure.
11. if you can now connect to gamez server then it is time to test the item.pak again. follow smartiks guide

NOTE: m2v2 works on some winxp user but doesn't work on majority
m2v4 works on win7 without problem

12. if it wont work then remove the added item.pak

The size of the Itempack es 29,6

 

then your not using the stock item.pak. because it size is only 26.7mb - 27.2mb

use the original item.pak from smartiks guide or do a clean install of aion w/o modification of item.pak

Well, if you tried all those alternative ways, don't know what to tell you at this point. All I can think of is wait for the Server to Restart.

- Did you try to delete all your Ping Reducer Programs on your computer?

- Are you using a bat Launcher? Just use the regular GamezAion Launcher (.exe)

-Do you have the possibility to try your computer on a friend's Internet connection just for test?
-Do you have a 2nd computer or a dual boot to test your client?

-btw what is your OS (including architecture 64/32bit)?
-Do you have a router ?(you can know this by check your ip, if your local ip is your public IP there is no router, if you have a local ip (probably 192.168.x.x) , that mean there is a router and there is a low probability that he stoped route a port you need after a firmware update(already happened to me after a DSLAM crash)).


EDIT: BTW you need port 2106 for aion, sorry to write so much detail but I don't know when I will reply...

 

Try an Unstuck Player Request, might not be it but it's worth a try.

Or you can try to Reboot your Router.
