This character is not in your account.

I'm creating this new thread, because there are a lot of people now experiencing this problem when trying to transfer their characters from Crystal Aion to Lumiel. Currently those who can't transfer their character's due to this error are posting in another thread under another topic, and I think for that reason Alente hasn't been reading it. So i'd ask all the previous Crystal Aion players who are getting this error to post here and include a screen shot of the message.

Steps to try to resolve this problem:

• Deleted all my characters from my previous GamezAion - Lumiel account
• Created a brand new account (different email address from CA, different GamezAION account name from CA)
• Created a brand new account (same email address as CA, different GamezAION account name from CA)

Would really appreciate a response from a staff member, just to let us know that they acknowledge this problem. Many people are worried that their characters are lost forever.

 

i have the same problem when i sign form it says that char is not in your acoount but there must be 2 chars.... pls hlp me

 

I don't really know if I've forgotten my charname, or if it really doesn't exist.

I know for a fact that your characters are still in Crystal's database. Carl is working on figuring out why the xfer system is doing that to certain accounts.

Sileria, this is a suggestion, Ade realised that accounts with both elyos and asmo characters are more likely to encounter this problem when transferring. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Thanks Sileria! That's all we needed to know.. Worst part about all this is being left in the dark, so I appreciate your reply.

Follow-up question: Since we are transferring characters and not the account, how will we be able to transfer our credits? I know I have over 8k still from donations.

 

Carl will have to manually xfer them. I'm out 15k credits atm also. His primary priority is fixing the transfer system.

IDK about it being the multi-race accounts. I have toons from both races that transferred successfully. For whatever reason, many of my toons are also stuck on the test server (including Sileria).

I even have heard cases of people transferring toons from multiple accounts onto 1 in Lumiel.

I've spoken to Carl about it and he's trying to grasp what's happening. It's a convoluted system.

The issue has been discovered and is being resolved now. It was a case sensitive issue within the database. Some people had upper-case letters in account data, in the player table it was lower case. So the check Carl implemented was seeing them as different accounts.

He's fixing it as I post this.

Edit:

Further info - Your toons appearing in the test server means the xfer failed. We're attempting to ascertain what about those particular toons is causing this. The best thing we can suggest is to keep trying.

 

Oh well at least it's getting fixed, does that mean we can start transferring our characters soon?

 

Guys, could you post the characters which have the "This character is not in your account" issue.

 

Well my Chanter (Sal) does not have that issue anymore, it says i can transfer her now. I will test the rest and report back.

 

I can't remember all the characters in my account, they were all mules for crafting with the exception of my main. How can I view the characters from my Crystal Aion account?

Anyway, the ones I can remember are: Fervid, Cook, Weaponsmith
