Can't reach the Character Selection screen.

I did a quick search around the forums, and I can't seem to find a thread which applies to my exact problem, so here I go.

After logging in and getting through the agreement page, the game cannot seem to progress from there. The background graphics is still going (the flames, etc), I can still move the cursor and such, but it'll stay like that for about five minutes before telling me that I have been disconnected. I attempted to login using another account just for troubleshooting purposes, yet it gave me the same problem.

Some help will be much appreciated.

 

Same Problem here, I played AION yesterday with out any problem, but when I log in today, after agreement page, nothing shows, just flames......I wonder if this is the server problem,,,

 

So you were playing fine yesterday when everyone else was getting stuck en-masse?

 

I don't know but I think I solved my problem, currently Im using reducelag, I stop the RTL and Im able to log in now. hmmm I really dont know what the problem is.....

 

You use Reducethelag as well? After reading your post, I went onto their website and forced reloaded the client. I can log in now, so it seems my problem is solved for now. Thanks for the heads up!

 

Some ping reducers are causing log in issues with Gamez.

I would suggest trying to use a different one in the future RTL seems to be causing many issues for plenty of players currently.

 

Try retarting your PC and Uninstall your ping reducers ex. RTL (Reduce The Lag)
