[Gamez 3.0] Eye of Tiamaranta

Hey guys!

For the past month or so, I've been trying to find out how to get into the Eye of Tiamaranta and its dungeon, Satra Treasure Hoard. So after much investigation, I came to nothing and eventually forgot about it. Then, with last update, something in the patch notes caught my attention which was a fix in the satra treasure hoard, which made me want to go into it again. After looking for quests, named mobs, npc's inside both the dungeon and the eye, I found a named mob that lead me to satra treasure hoard and an NPC that got me into the Eye. As far as I am concerned, the entrance to the eye is not working, but we won't find out until one of the factions takes over 2 of the hearts in Tiamaranta within one siege. This would open the passage (west for elyos, east for asmos) that would lead to the Eye, and it would appear inside the barracks.

In any case, since I got into the Eye, I felt like celebrating a bit for myself, and I thought I should share a very small preview of the place with you guys. I might also host an RvR here if I get enough people to do a big one!

So this area has 2 rings, an outer ring and an inner ring. The outer ring pretty much surrounds the entire structure while the inner ring connects 4 rooms where named mobs are. To the middle we have the Commander's room which I believe is either not implemented yet, or it is a siege-type mob that only spawns sometimes and not always there. There are also small rooms throughout the outer ring which seem to be balaur bedrooms or ready-rooms, as well as treasure hoards in the inner ring and next to the named mob rooms. To the south you can notice a dungeon, which is the Satra Treasure Hoard. The dungeon is supposed to give Platinum, Mithril medals, and PvP Gears of Some sort, but doesn't seem to be completely functional as of now.

Thanks =P Satra Treasure hoard is not as epic as I thought it was, pretty much just like a dungeon from upper abyss forts, which is why I didn't cover it or anything. Hope this is good enough =P

dahell jo i added that in my guide before o.o "searching for the past month" ? Also it requires 3 or more forts (yes that means you can't both enter at the same time) so kindly ask the fellow devs to fix that.


Oh right: Berserker Sunayaka spawns in the middle and drops the best combines in 3.0 *fly away*

 

pretty sure you can o.o... I've seen videos of hordes of elyos and asmos fighting each others while trying to kill the middle man, sunayaka or w/e =P

and what I meant about "searching for the past month" is, getting in there in gamez, which either requires me to move to an npc, or know the map ID, which I didn't =P (yellow title ftw!)

 

on retail if you have 3 or 4 fortress just a faction can enter eye of tiamaranta!

 

oh I was just pointing out how it was possible for both races to be in at the same time =P.. the introduction videos for tiamaranta actually explain what you are saying ^^
