NCPATCH problem !!

    hey guys , i downloaded a patch named "Aion_Main_0.0.0.0To3.0.0.0" size "13,433,801 KB" and whenever i try to install aion , i just put this patch in the install directory and it should install automatically , the launcher examins the patch then the patch gets deleted and redownloaded , so whats the problem ? iam not gonna download 13GB again !!

    The exact same thing happened to me, I had to redownload that file again, but after that it worked... (it was a waste of my first download though.... 15 hours :p). But as far as I know there is no fix for it, I had it before when I still played retail and NCsoft told me to simply wait and download again...

    isn't there any ideas on how to fix this ? or how to force the launcher to extract it ? can't i just extract it manually !!

    Is there a Pando thingy(which ask you to download) whenever you start downloading the patch? if so, then thats probably your case.

    well i had an installer for 2.1 version and i kept updating my client , and during an update the launcher asked me to download that stupid media booster , so i have it installed now , if that is the problem , how i'm gonna fix it ?

    Close your NCSoft Launcher.

    Go to C:\Games\NCsoft Launcher\Config\Default (Edit: Games.xml)

    Change all instances of

    <P2P>true<P2P>
    to
    <P2P>false<P2P>

    and say thanks to Alente.

    still not working !! now i get an "installing" process but inside the process a downloading process !
    iam running windows 7 64bit , and all i want is just to extract that patch !!
