Aion 4.0 tidbit of info

not only that,
new type of manastones are coming out
not magical supression, but mixed manastones
like <attack +5 / Crit Strike 5> etc etc

Heard that the current MS's available will be upgraded. :3 and there'll be new Magic Suppression, Physical Def, and a lot more new MS's coming out on 3.5. Templars like you will become more OP.. not to mention EVEN MORE OP Sorcerers. >.<

 

If you ask me I believe they got the Gun wielding idea from GW2 (being its from the same company), with that being said it could possibly be similar to the Engineer class from GW2, without all the potion, trap, turret stuff. As for the Muscial wielding class, I have a feeling its going to lean more towards Chanter/Glad, being a melee type of class, but with spells that are rather similar to a chanter, meaning it can cast a 'note' that can heal or increase speed etc etc.. and it can have a 'note' that does aoe dmg and knocks people down. This is just my theory, I'm more interested in the musical wielding one rather than the gun wielding class. But my other theory would be it could be a ranger just holding a gun and a chanter/glad just holding a guitar or something of that nature and nothing unique, we shall see.

 

It was broken when Spirit masters(fear) were made.

 

with Gunner class it wont fit the .. Gamezaion.. coz in my observation Aion's theme is old..ancient..time .. .. i thnk having a clas of musical .. wielder or spec .. for the 3rd clas i suggest a brawler.. ^^

Gunner? thats not the old wild west....
Well im really curious how they are going to deal with such a strange class in a game like Aion.
About the class wielding a musical instrument...."Sounds" really strange. Probably going to run around with a Flute/Harp...would be weird if someone starts killing ppl with a Trumpet.
I' will be really dissappointed if he wont be able to summon a Piano crushing on the enemy....

Okay sereiously now...
Probably our Musician will be a Magic class with sleeping spells and chanter buffs, migh be able to heal too...like a sort of cloth Priest with lower dps then a sorci but bigger control-spells then other classes (Something like sm's fear or sorci's sleep)...
About the gunner...well its going to be something like a Mid-range Archer...Medium damage but fast attack/movement speed, dual guns for fast but low damage, big railgun/Missile-thrower for low speed but massive dps.

if you watched aion vision trailer you can notice near the characters' part of the vid there are indeed new classes, the ranger that took out a crossbow, chanter that turned her staff into a whip, and the dude that chains a mob with a punch>throw>shockwave combo XD

Couple of people has mentioned guns feeling out of place in Aion.
NCSoft actually has subtle hints about firearms been present.

Scroll to the Leather lv60 Daev set and you'll see both male and female armours have handguns o_o

Edits: And if an admin ever read this, fix the 3.0 campaign quests. I have the lv30 and lv50 sets, I want to do the lv60 quest chain too. =(

 

1: the crossbow was on a ranger, he switched to it midcombat
2:the chanter " whip" is more of a new extendable animation than a weapon/class
3:the combo thing was a sorcerer actually...


also vision trailer LOLOLOLOLOL people still look up to that..

 

its just a referrence.. I personally don't think they can implement all those features in that vid as exactly as they have shown it since the main purpose of it is to appeal and crush your hopes ingame XD
btw can't tell about no.3 if its really a sorc since he wore a costume so no idea what armor he has on and mages have the most lowest physical dmg that's why they don't slap everybody with their tome XD

 

Most people say that this info is not true because there's not even a single screenshot or sneak peek video on the other sites that post this news. But to be honest I like the change of atmosphere once in a while.
