Tiamat /dragon lord extendables

3.5 aion

3.5 is now officially in korea live servers.

confirm
1) mythical weapons/shield - 5 slots , no mythical armor. no new ap armor.

(spear icon.)

mythical weapon have the chance to have slight variation in their stats




2) Master carved level 60 weapons/armor/shield/accessories/headgear-- link

(master carved weapons have same base stats (not bonus stats) as the weapons that will be dropped by enraged menotios in 3.1 ages of hero patches. )

there will be no crafting for mythical gear yet.

3) Haven of solvent (12man instance) - Mythical weapon set and Extendible weapon set.
4) tiamat citadel (6man instance) - Lvl 60 Eternal weapon set (same skin as above but different stats)
(second best base stat weapon in 3.5 after mythical)
extra note - this weapon set also can drop in haven of solvent.
5)tiamat citadel also drop gold weapon/armor (for de/skinning)

6) Extendible weapon still have the level limit 63 on the weapons. For the moment is of no concern, but might impact the game when they raise the level cap.

7.) still trying to dig around about the rumoured lvl 60 arena pvp accesories..no luck atm.

fastest bike 12.8 speed - drop from the new tiamat instance


12.2 speed - get 40 guardian corps coin from one of the new instance.

basically means too bad to handicrafters..and huray for everyone else.

9) from what i gather, when u defeat tiamat, im not sure whether everyone in the 12 man gets 1 treasure box each, or whether 12 people have to roll for 1 treasure box. (if anyone knows pls correct me)

when u open that special treasure box it , it randomly gives you

a) mythical weapon
b) extendible weapon
c) eternal lvl 60 weapon - the same weapon set that drops in tiamat citadel ( 6man instance)
d) new tiamat wings.

random chance. again im not sure how many items can u get from one box.

and btw about the mythical weapons, the thing with the "slight variation in the stats" already exists - it's called a random bonus stat system and is only for the vasharti weapons right now afaik... it can give you extra bonus attribute or an enhanced one (coloured in green)

what i dont like in GS sword or Polearm extendables there's no "Crit Strike" attributes.

 

Inaddition to Vash weapons, I believe the Primal armours from Elemental Forest and Argent Manor has chance for bonus attributes too.

LOL but that new eternal extendable is just for lvl60-63. what if in 4.0 the lvl cap will be 65?

it doesnt matter.. attack of weapon is useless.. im stil using lvl 50 athanas gs and i still hit like a beast... ofcorse if theres a higher weapon than athanas its way better.. but if you compare it to the new and powerful weapon but not extended.. i prefer extendable weapon..

 

Athana's Fate and Laestrygo's Mirage are lv54 weapons. I was still using my Zapiel's Spear (lv48) until recently, nevermind lv54 weapon xD

What Jasper1884 meant that IF the new level cap in 4.0 is like 65, then these weapons become redundant since most people will be lv65 and can't use them. Sure, we can still use the old extendables but makes the introduction of these weapons....pointless.

 

We rely in critical strike to compensate our small base damage in athanas fate, if NCsoft well not modify or refine the LVL requirement of Tiamat's extendable weapon there's no point in wasting credits for it. and there's a rumor that there will be a new "Empyrean Accessories" introduced in 3.5 still waiting for this.
