Where are the Gamez Aion servers located? I just bought a great ping reducer but I need to know the server's location.

 

U got ripped off a product that does same thing as a program called leatrix latency fix, haha...

I know what I bought. As a matter of fact a friend of mine from college designed it and trust me, I have leatrix latency fix and it got my ping down from 500ms to 250ms, but with my friends program (still testing) I get 67-90ms from Puerto Rico (over seas) its something totally new and it really works.*

he pays hosts to serve as check points and from that checkpoint they send direct information to the server's location, that is why I need the server's location to get a host.

hmm well im from canada and without leatrix, i get 60 ping, with it i get about 15-30 , hows that sound bro!

 

I'm not that jelly, on retail I play most of the time with 56ms-77 its still a 2 digit ping anyways :3
I just wish I had the same ping in gamez lol.

 

yah but remember, games is a popular server, and perhaps they dont host it off the best server either ehh, hosting is expensive..

Honestly too, if you are using a internet router, i would look into going into the settings, theres so many settings to improve ur ping and crap..... I have uber low ping and i spent 2 hrs tweaking mine..if u dont use a router then dont bother, it also depends on ur net speed too, these ping fixes r overrated most of the time, they help a lil. jus sayin

Leatrix Latency Fix is a product that in essence makes small edits to your registries in order to try to get the packets sent faster. A ping reducer is usually a proxy tunnel that helps you direct line your connection to the server, usually better for those far away.

The chances of Carl actually answering this thread are about the same chance of me having an orgy with the Dallas Cheerleaders, we all want and dream but it just ain't gonna happen.

The server is in Lansing Michigan, usually Chicago is the best place to proxy to.

 

I heard that he moved to the top of a high mountain to be like one of those old hermits. Lot's of stories about him.

In all honesty last I heard, carl lived in barbados and the servers are in Texas.

 

I think its Dallas Tx but then again I had 50-70 Ping when I lived in Tx and I am in AL now with 20-50 xD
So who knows lol
