2 of the best montages in history

I can't believe Breaking Bad managed to deliver not one, but two of the greatest montages in history in its midseason finale.

Yes, I love the baptism montage in the Godfather, the lakehouse montage in the Godfather part 2, the montage in Goodfellas, in Rocky, etc.

But these are up to par. I love the dark comedy and irony in the song selection also.

Is there any doubt that this is the best show in TV history now?

It's so creepy, raw, and violent. It's shocking how far Walt has come to be able to orchestrate something as evil as that scene.

Dexter has been mediocre the last 2 seasons, but even in its hayday, Breaking Bad was better. I don't kid when I say it's the best show on right now, and arguably the best in history. That's the stance of almost everyone who's seen it, and I'm assuming you haven't ;D

Watch it. It's about a high school chemistry teacher who realizes he has terminal cancer. He has no money to leave for his family, so he decides he'll use what he's good at, chemistry, to cook crystal meth and earn money.

The brilliance of the show is the black comedy, the incredible attention to detail, the amazing performances and chemistry between the two leads (pun intended), and one of the most terrifying transformations that has ever existed.

Each season gets better than the last, this 5th season being the swan song. I highly recommend it because I DO think this is the best show to ever grace TV. I'm sure someone will mention the Wire, but to me, this is better.

I don't think it's exaggerating. This show is pure genius.

Too bad we have to wait ten months for the last eight episodes.

 

I'm not exaggerating. I'm not talking about any crappy show. This really is pure genius like Rigaldo said. Have you seen it?

I think most people who've seen it either agree or at least understand it's top 3.

 

Its great,definitely in my TOP5 but i think walt went too far by killing mike and murdering all those people.. And the death of that kid in the previous episodes was insane as well as the way they disposed off the body.. I think Walts new partner is a psycho but we ll see.

I also LOVED The Rome , the game of thrones , Spartacus , The jericho

And i cant believe some of these series were canceled,meh..

 

Walt went "too far" a long time ago. I also think Todd is going to be Walt's downfall. That's my hunch for the next 8 episodes.

I like Game of Thrones, but I don't think it's at Breaking Bad quality yet. Having read the books also, I think the show will suffer from George R R Martin's unraveling storylines. The books just get bigger and bigger, and there's no way a 10 episode TV show can hold the weight of that, not to mention the books themselves start to get worse and lose direction. We'll see, but I think only people who read the books will enjoy the next season or 2.

 

I finished season 4 like last year, havnt watch season 5 yet.

 

Well watch Season 5, which in my opinion puts it over the top of any other show; however, I can't fault you if you find the Wire or a show of equal quality better. The question then becomes, which show do you consider is the best show in history?
