when both weapons have the same godstone while dual wielding off hand weapons proc rate is reduced. by 50% if i remember correctly

 

that happened coz tatar wish gives his drops to newbie ppl, u are too much pro suho, tatar knew that, coz this tatar want to give his drops to noobs like Fzzr xD

 

I find it interasting that tonny started to attack at 90%, while when a normal human interped he'll understand that there's no way to out dps the group badrobot was in. There must be something why they started to help. They knew they'll the drop somehow

I will point this to investigate it, but afaik Fzzr is still out there playing, and no1 even inspected him.

The funny thing is, from 1.5 to 3.0 you were accusing them without proof. Sad right?

I remember last few days,had the chance to get in-game,we killed this particular world boss and the group members were
Cleric (1)
Assasins (2)
Gladiator (1)
Sorcerer (1)
Templar (1)

While we're all attacking, at 90% tonny group came and KS'ed
I'm not certain 'bout their group members,as far as I can recall they've got SM/CLERIC/CHANTER/ASSASIN not sure on the other members, but they're same number as we are which is 6 in all. Not to mention I've got 3,000 /3,300+500 magicboost every 5mins.
Full buffed > Major nukes, was actually inflicting 23,000+ Non crits

Was really confusing how they managed to get the loots.

 

On Lumiel, we would just log on the other race then yours and wipe you at 5% of Tatar's HP

 

You're right. Come to think of it that seeing how outnumbered they are and how much HP was taken by the first group, normally you'd think that there's no way you can get the loot since the other group will surely out-DPS yours, but they still helped regardless of their own circumstances. Yes, I think it's really fishy. Them hacking or knowing a bug to abuse...

Before that run actually Robot just reset Tatar after killing a group of 3 people with his Ranger

 

All that dont matter because we are in 3.0 right now..

Hmm,honestly there isnt much of a damage difference between dagger/mace and dagger/sword setups. Maybe a tiny one but it isnt worth the trouble of finding a crit mace. Not to mention that the attack speed is exactly the same (0.8). Personally,id go with dagger/sword because it looks nicer and it does around the same damage as dagger/mace. But ppl are free to choose what they like.

Anyway here is a small comparison i made between the two.

After watching this,id still go with dagger/sword just cause it looks nicer and hits almost the same. Not to mention that after wearing the mace my dagger attack got lowered >.>


PS: People who dont know what autoattack on dual weild means in pve,watch these 2 videos,and now tell me,could you outdps this dmg with your spear or greatsword for 30 minutes? Yea i figured so.

 

Mace/Mace is too slow. I don't have my DPS graphs, but I think it was around 1k dps lower than dagger/mace.

Firstly, 0.8 attack speed could mean anything from 0.81 to 0.89.

Secondly, you can't measure DPS on eyesight. If you want to prove me wrong, download ACT and measure your DPS.

 

Perhaps if you want to prove me wrong,you do it. I have no interested in an online opinion conflict. The video is pretty clear and its as far i ll go. If you have nothing else to say then leave this thread be.

Not to mention that i didnt create this thread in order to compare damages between dual weilds. Maybe we can have a thorough discussion about it in another thread some day,if ever someone decides to make one.

 

Regarding auto attacking on a dual wielding glad; wouldn't weaving be better than simply auto attacking? I use my glad only for pve and that's what I do with good success.

Considering there is finally some consensus between the players now about the Auto Attack DPS.

Yes, Auto Attacking with S/D / S/S / M/D / M/S will provide faster and more reliable DPS than with a GS / Spear. Even on my GM Cleric with her set of full buffs and gear, I couldn't come close in the same 15 second set of time it took her to kill a regular NPC. The dps from the GS / Spear was about 100% slower. (S/D setup killed 15 seconds, Spear killed 32 seconds).

However, the DPS issue and aggro drop etc. While, I have seen before a player take and retain aggro from a mob (any mob as a base). It is possible for another group to per say out dps a different group, however not provide enough damage to actually steal the aggro.

Now, your all going to jump on this and say but we should have gotten the loot! I am in no way saying you shouldn't have, or that there isn't some issue as I have already explained to Badrobot in pm's.

I do plan on checking this out but I cannot do so by myself at the moment sadly or it would have been done already. It is in the plans for me to do hopefully I am able to do so today.

There really is no reason for them to have been able to take the loot, unless they managed to somehow fully out dps the other group from 90% - 0% and not cause enough damage from the person who was holding aggro to steal it as that would be possible to do if both groups are dpsing at the same constant rate.

Also, it may be a 'last' hit situation as it is a world boss not just the most DPS to the mob itself, which is what I actually want to check out, and from there a few other things that need to be checked. As I am unaware of any 'looting' hacks. No Animation, is hard to say with out some video proof of how things were going and their actual hit speeds.

Considering .8 attack speed, will over time double hit once. Every I want to say about 5 - 6 attacks? Might be slightly more. It's just how the timing on the attacks works out over all.

Anyway, this is planned to be investigated. Though thank you all for your inputs and thoughts, some of it was useful and gave me some ideas of just where to start looking at this.

DPS Parser will solve ur problem + weaving w/ DW is definitely highest DPS output when its PvE usually.
