Need some information on the game atm.

So i've been away from Aion for a couple months, and i never played in this server too. I wanted a High Rate and PvP server, and i think this is nice. So here's my questions:

What are the best classes for PvP in the recent patches? How can we get gear in this server? What's the difference between Lumiel and Siel? What's the most populated one?

What are the best classes for PvP in the recent patches?

Well, I could be an arse and start poking fun at Rangers and Sorcerers for being the most sucessful classes because of their "low learning curve", but these days I only ever play Assassin. So beyond the Assassin, I can't really help you much there.

How can we get gear in this server?

People these days go to Argent Manor/Elementis Forest in Sarpan and hunt Golden Tatar in Tiamaranta (world boss).

What's the difference between Lumiel and Siel? What's the most populated one?

Lumiel restricts you to a stigma tree, so you can only pick a few (I think 6 normal stigmas and 6 advanced stigmas) skills to use at a time. Siel allows you to use every stigma skill available to that class.

As for the one more populated, I've never played on Lumiel personally. Though I have been hearing that Siel is generally more populated, so yeah.

 

to be honest, im new to Aion, playing it for a week or so, i made my char lvl 60 by questing and couldnt get any gear cause no one is helping at all, people are grouping with their friends and if you dont have good gears, they are not getting you in, and for good gears you need to farm in instances, earning money is hard if you cant go to instance to sell some drops, the only difference i think from the retail is lvling up fast, good luck to you with finding groups to make gears.

the solution is vote = 1k or 1.5k can get you decent gear already

 

im doing that currently, its taking long time tho, if people would have invited to groups it would be faster, no one is helping as i said.

 

I guess your best bet would be to join a legion. I know my legion is really hesitant on joining up with outsiders, simply because they feel that they're bad for the group's chemistry in general.

 

hmm seems like its the only option for now.
