[Forums Suggestion] Reputation System

I'm not sure if it's been done before on here, nor am I sure what anyone else things about it. I really can't say much about the positives or negatives, I just thing it'd be cool to have something more than "Thank" when trying to give something back to someone for their effort in doing something. Additionally, if anything, I think the community should give their input on this. If the players want it, shouldn't it be added? What do you guys think?

It'll create a competition and give members with a high reputation, ego.

It's a good suggestion, but I have seen this System on other forums before, and it has turned to nastiness with the competition between everyone. It ended up the with Web admins deleting the system.

 

We have the thank system, boost your e-peen with the number of thanks you have :3

 

Updates

"THANKS buttom" is very different reputation button as I am one of the oldest members of the forum I can tell you that this existed along with "Forum experience," but this was removed because there were new users who already had high reputation and has just started , also the experience because some users had more points than the admins.

there are many updates because as you know Darkmax is busy with other projects and is not as active as before, pandion not upload updates at the forum last month.

In other words, tons of forum members here will abuse it just to boost it.

 

1st Offense: 2 Infraction Points

2nd Offense: 1 Week Ban

3rd Offense: ... Kick his ass out

 

No, been on a forum with this, and it was hard fail.

 

its a good idea, but youll have ppl on here that dont like others, for whatever reason, and just give them negative or a bad rep on every post they make just because they dont like them, so in a way itll be nice, but in one way way shape or form youll have ppl using it in bad ways, but thats my 2 cents on it.

 

Would anyone else care to give feedback on this? If not, I suppose it can be closed.
