Is it possible that there is a Mitrill medals fountain???

opp my title got wrong i forgot the "H" in "MITHRIL" word and exceeds a letter L... hope u understand that i am new in a forum ^^... but i'm almost 3 months in playin the game ^^...

There's a fountain in Rancora Fortress for each faction near your faction's Air Line where you could throw Platinum Medal and get a chance to have Mithril Medal in exchange. Just take note that NOT every Platinum Medal you throw there means a guaranteed Mithril Medal, it's just a chance.

 

You can buy the lesser sets that require them though =)

Archon Sentinel and Ely one should be available for Medals and AP. Same way APP and GPP / EAT And ER I forget the ely one. I always forget the ely name lol.

But! They should be. Gunna find out here in a second or two and edit with a yes or no.

Yep! The Yellow Colored Level 60 Gear CAN be purchased with AP / Medals so they do pose some use for people if they want to go after them.

I don't know if anyone tested it for you, but retail rates are usually 6 plats in, 1 mithril medal out. =[ I don't suppose it's changed here, but just to give you an idea.

 

if that's the case, that they should make ABG/GBG available to buy with plats too

 

Just to add to this, unless you want to sacrifice 24 platinum medals and still not get a single one, there really is no point because you can't buy EAC and such from the NPCs.

Though, for those of you who care. ABG is VERY slightly better than the L60 Fabled.

 

Infact there are two locations to exchange platinum for mithyil medals.
One is inside Rancora Fortresss, another is inside the Tiamaranta's Garrison. The location inside the garrison supposedly to have better exchange rate but requires exchange of Balaur Serum (1.5k AP) per Platinum medal.

I've tested both fountains and they both work, however similar exchange rates so perhaps the fountain inside the garrison is not working properly. The exchange rate is around 1:7 so unless you have hundreds (or thousands) of platinum, you won't get much mithril.

I'm totally agreed with AM... i compare the level 60 raksha legionary cloth to the ABG cloth... its much better... but some point primal spirit was sort of better... although it doesn't have a pvp def points... but still it has a higher stats... I think...
