I can't play aion t_t

Worst suggestion I've heard. Reinstalling should be the last resort as re-installing mean re-downloading Aion from the NCsoft client. That's a huge 13GB or so. Furthermore you have to use pando now, which lowers your speed by at least half.

You need to update your DirectX.
Update it and be sure you are running the game in 32 bits.

 

Run the retail Aion from the NCsoft launcher and it should automaticly update your direct X then simply downgrade and launch with the gamez aion launcher and it should work

 

Did all that. Still have the same problem, except I don't get the error until I log on my character.

 

remember to install the newest codec too.

 

Check ur item pak..

Edit: I made a new character. That worked. Which means this is a character related error for me, my main is probably stuck. Could be wrong though.

 

you need directx new version . update directx

My directX was already 11 and updated.

It was the items.pak that did it though. At least for me, using the 3.0 items.pak guide fixed my issue. The op should try it too.

u dont have to use pando if u right click aion in the games list -> properties -> uncheck pando box u can download directly from ncsoft servers. pando is just a torrent and yea for some people its slow, some people actually get a nice speed boost, all depends. however pando does make the download take a lot longer to start (the progress bar is like blank and frozen for a while be4 pando loads up)

this error isnt related to directx in any way. aion has its own unique directx error that specifically tells u u need directx 9.0c newer than june 2008.

having directx 11 is actually not enough, the game was built on 9.0c and wont recognize anything other than that (since 11 didnt even exist at the time, its like having nothing)

this error is most frequently caused by an incompatible items.pak so yea running on the original alone or a different version of the modified can fix it

 

Well I'm using DirectX 11 and I'm not getting any DirectX errors. And since 11 is superior to 9 I'm not changing anytime soon

 

lol u dont get it they are mutually exclusive. i have directx 9, 10 and 11 all at the same time. they dont overwrite each other, they complement each other

directx 11 comes with win 7 by default, funny thing when it came out, most graphics card didnt even support it so it was absolutely useless and people still needed directx 9

yea its better technology but the program has to be built on it and the graphics card has to be able to render it, otherwise its really not better

trust me lol aion gets absolutely nothing out of directx 11 and without having 9.0c at the same time, ud still get directx errors already had to deal with that issue on a lot of peoples pcs

 

i have a problem like u before and make make stress..lol, and i have try all many tricks for that,i have discuss with am and many pro in here, teamviewer pc with admin...all i have done, even i change my windows sytem every series i try..
and i still get error like this AION GameClient OTCBuildClient32_woGG


i think some old computer didnt respon with aion system
and my solution was buy new computer with new specification like new vga card, motherboard, and processor,,now i can play AION and never got problem

 

If your PC was that bad I'm amazed you could even launch it.
