I support your thought very much.. I have a few things i wish for you to consider..

I too helped a lot of newbees in the game... i quit that a little

The only thing i do now is mentor someone to lvl 46 and give them advice about several quests in the game..
I let them level themselves to 60 in theobomos/ingisson or sarpan

If you don't do that they only get lazy.. and besides.. they will then learn a little how the maps are (easier for locating npcs and so on) and they will learn how to use flight, tele and obelisks.. (and where they go)..

I AM glad that there is finally someone else willing to help others..
