Guide & Key item.pak 3.0 in Windows XP SP3

I try post this for all people who have item.pak 3.0 cant using on XP. (Until now he only using item.pak 2.7)

1. First Key is Your Computer or Laptop must be using Windows-XP Original.
2. For s second, your Computer Must be install Microsoft.NET Framework 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, until now 4.5 Edition
3. Then Using Version 2 "Method 2" from Smartik1 (any way, thank's alot to Smartik1 for item.pak 3.0)
4. at Last, you must Pray:smile:. Then open your Gamezaion-Client. Let US Play....!!!!

it doesnt work. i had all the requirements b4. but i had no choice. i upgraded to win7..

 

LOL..., are you sure your PC/Laptop you are using is Windows XP Origin????
for you know your Windows-Xp is origin, you must be check it. with "windows xp genuine tool"
if not Origin. the-item.pak 3.0 cant be use. :smile:

As I know if you try to to follow, my-guide you can using your item.pak 3.0 in your Windows-XP SP3
coz not only me get succesfull this. 8-of-my-friend can got succesfull their item.pak 3.0 with Windows -XP SP3

"note: i never try this item.pak in Windows-XP SP2, this is only for Windows-XP SP3" :rightful:

Just to add some info about the 3.0 item.pak
You can run method 2 version 2 on a XPSP3 machine, i've tested it on 14 PC's all running on windows XPSP3

here's the trick:
Please do note to backup your whole aion client to a separate partition or drive/external HDD and remove what ever item.pak files you put on it.

1. do a clean install of windows xpsp3 and install all latest drivers
2. install internet explorer 8 and let it install a required update for IE8
3. install .net framework 1-4 or 1-3.5 +updates
4. install correct directx files required by the game. (ex. D3dx9_26 and onwards most platform games have this files)
5. install xna framework
6. install or copypaste your aion client to what drive you desire
7. download Version 2 from smartiks and copy,extract it to data/USA/items
8. run gamezaion launcher from there

I've done that Technic because i need my station to be in windows xp(its a computer shop)

but if you only have single pc capable of running windows 7, i suggest you upgrade to windows 7, it will be a lot easier to setup
just download item.pak version 4 and copy,extract it to data/USA/items (it is only a single file so let it be)
I've tested it to on my windows 7 and works fine.
