As you all know AP in this server is useless! The only thing AP is useful for now is to wear ACD/EAC gear which, in my humble opinion, is retarded to grind to rank 1, If you're a new comer that just dropped 150$ for a set you can't even wear. So, what comes next? ah! yes! you zerg for AP till you reach rank 1 to wear a set you payed for. My suggestion is simple, please spawn those NPCs. That way they simply get ACD and with a run of an instance get the AP relics, trade them for AP and voila! you don't have to PvP naked for a million AP just to wear your newly bought ACD/EAC gear. Please take this into consideration, I know many newbies are frustrated because they've donated for ACD gear and can't wear it simply because those helpful NPCs aren't there.

The main problem is the number of people who are going to abuse it to get an extremely high rank effortlessly. Not to long ago, previous Asmodian Governor got his AP wiped due to the fact that he got his rank with the help of Major Ancient Crowns which has been said so many times that it shouldn't be done.

Suggestion is not bad if and only there's a way to limit the people to be able to exchange relics / crowns only until rank 1.

And another thing, AP is not as useless as most of you people think it is because at the moment, level 60 fabled abyss items is obtainable from the NPC.

 

This is no use for me, i don't have both acd & eac's. *le sighh

 

Well... Eac/Acd is a professional pvp set, therefore the rank 1 restriction was added to allow only to the best players to wear it (Talking about retail standards).
Anyway rank 1 restriction is kinda useless on Gamez, everybody is able to get that amount of Ap easly, and thats a true fact.

About relic npcs spawned again? no, thats probably never going to happen. Thats a pvp server, therefore you will need to fight (even zerg) to get your points, sitting in the abyss and getting 1-2 milions of ap while drinking coffee doesnt make sense. Event tought players would do it just to get rank 1? No, surely not.
Alot of players will just exchange those relics over and over again ranking up to governor (thats a true fact, Alente had to remove loads of Ap from governors/commanders and such).
Anyway even to rank up to 1, you will be rewarded with Ap, which can be used to buy gear with a few medals.
Players just need to join a few events and get some relics to get PvP gear easly.... and this will cause an increment of geared guys who arent able to fight properly, which will increase the Zerg population.

 

Do daily/weekly quests to get Mithril Medals, they're working now. Collect enough medals and use your accumulated AP to exchange for Guardian/Archon Sentinel Sets.

 

They could remove the rank requirement through the item.pak.

They can also remove the class restrictions as well which they should.

 

I think the reason Gamez is keeping things like that is the same reason NCsoft had to make such restrictions in the first place: OP class builds (MB Cloth Sins, MR Chain Temps) which would be worse with the new gears and aren't necessarily "normal" builds.

I personally am against such restrictions, but they're there for a reason.

 

But Sir, even though Gamez owners named it retail-like feature server, however for the mass, it is not, considering the fact that even without the rank/class restriction everything are unbalance.

 

Put the NPCs back in the game. Problem solved.

it burns me to no end when someone simply don't get my point of view.

Imagine you've just donated 250$ for set + accs and YET YOU PAID, YOU CAN'T EVEN WEAR WHAT YOU BOUGHT! WOW way to go right! its retarded... and now what you do? get a group a zerg till you reach rank 1? its VERY frustrating trust me I've got a friend in this situation and he will just rage quit, too bad he can't ask for a refund...

 

Someone here can't reach first rank to wear the set.....

 

Fail troll, my characters all have their gear. I'm talking about making this server "user friendly" for newbies that way they just don't invest money and leave rage-quitting gamez.

I'm pretty sure it clearly says on the item description that the items are class locked and can only be equipped by characters with rank 1 (and above). If by any chance, someone bought them without reading carefully what it says on the item description, it would be too irrational for that person to come to the forum and rage / complain about an item he/she paid for but is not able to wear. It's not so hard to get a starter gear such as coliseum items which doesn't require you to have a decent gear or any gear at all to participate since both winner and loser gets the insignias before actually investing money.

I would understand where you're coming from if it's not written on the item description that it's only for Rank 1 and above but it is clearly written on the item description.

Don't get me wrong tho. I do like the main idea of the suggestion but then again like I said on my first post, with certain limit/condition.

 

I'm not raging about anything, I'm just trying to help new comers but anyways can you close this thread? It's impossible to knock common sense into people hehe, besides is not like I need it.

 

There's a really simple fix for the problem with abusers. Make the instance harder that way you cant abuse them, Or change the drop rate from the boxes for the icons etc.

 

they can simply put a 24-hour-timer on the NPC kinda like an instance timer and problem solved.
