ABG remodeled

so far the items.pak we have cannot allow abg remodeling

however ive seen people ingame with remodeled abg items.

anyway knows how can we remodel abg items?
is there a different item.pak aout there for this job?
anyone can provide any info or help about this?

Maybe they remodeled with the old Item.pak.. i have that and i can dye and remodel normaly every item

After the last reboot or fix I cant remodel my ABG items....inched:

 

I dont think it is just the items.pak, but also something serversided (maybe same file, but maybe something else). I think it works the same for ABG weapons as for Tahabata weapons. I cant afford ABG weapons yet, but i did remodel some Tahabata weapons. This worked great for awhile... then an update killed this feature (i used the same items.pak). I know that a few days ago this feature was restored again, so i remodeled some more Tahabata weapons (again, using the same items.pak).

btw, is there a chance for the future items.pak to offer remodeling again?

 

the basis for this is that they have several times changed features with the 1.9 build that can disable or enable this feature server side. This has nothing to do with our item.pak file as I have used both the old one and new one and been able to re-model and not re-model with both.

The devs are attempting to sort out problems so in the process several things like this are undone that may have been modified for our convenience. The best solution if you want this fix applied again is to post it in the bugs section and they may get round to it.

When I PM'd a GM ingame about it he said something to do with the memory leak and modifying server side was causing alot of roll back on fixes they had already instated and were now having to redo every time they try to work at fixing the server crash issue

 

i paid a ton of kinah to remodel my ABG bow so if anyone has this abilty i have a massive amount of credits to get it done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I heard this feature has been turned off again in last major update, because it was still too buggy. Nobody has the ability when it is turned off serversided... you have to wait till GA turns it on again.

 

I don't get it.... WHY do they keep turning it off and on?!

 

I think i have read somewhere that it had something to do with the memoryleaks (program claiming memory from server but never giving it back when the job is done). Result: servermemory gets full, game cant run anymore and server crashes.

 

I dont see why you would want to remodel a 55 weapon to something else, I mean unless its a strategic advantage it feels good to show that you have the strongest weapon availible...

 

can always run a program like Smart RAM that cleans the wasted ram space again, that way u wont have a problem of ram getting full. anyways wish i saw this post be4 i took off the old model from my wep >.>

if the strongest also looked the best ok, if a 3x noob weapon looks better than this crap then yeah, im all for remodel
