Didnt played since 2.7 - Lvl 60 what now?

Hello Folks,

following Situation - me and 2 of my friends quit playing AION 1 Year ago.
Now we want to start over agin and we are lvl60 now.... but what now?
Looks like Stormwing-eqiiup. isnt the best anymore and although the Level
cap is now 60 ^^

So we have noob gold-50 equip and some blue 55-items. What shall we do
now? Where can we get new Equipment? I also heared that there are some
new instances that pop-up right next to the survey-button Oo ...

PVP gears are fine as long as it's PVP items. Instances are a must, since guys are just getting started, also Voting can help you with your gears though it takes time, crafting can also be your best asset especially crafting consumables etc.

 

Best PvE obtained Armours are now Primal Spirit Sets and Weapons are Vashrati.
Armours are obtained from the new instances, Elemental Forest and Argent Manor in Sarpan.
While Weapons are obtained from the new instance, Rentus Base in Tiamaranta.
(If you have some lv55 PvP gears, eg ABGs. They're still useful.)

There are couple of ways to get to Kamar, main city in Sarpan. Kaisinel/Marchutan Academies have portal, as well as from Inggison/Gelkmaros fortress portals.
Going into Tiamaranta requires you to go to the south end of Sarpan, unlocking that flying point requires you to complete the 1st Sarpan Campaign quest.

Also familiarize yourself with the new Skills, Equips and Stigmas.

Lastly the instance icon that appears is the new lv56-60 Dredgion. Dredgion instances has always been there, just no one ever goes.

everything i think its best to farm the suggested weapons / armors via
PVE ^^ so we can train and he can learn everything

i just googled for them but i didnt find anythin where is the location
of the mobs?
