Noble Sky Dragon Emperor's Durable weapons nearly impossible?

Is it nearly impossible to make one of these? To make a non-noble, you have to have a noble of the previous weapon. And to get a noble, it is only a small chance when crafting the non-noble. With slight chances and having to go through multiple weapons to finally get to the final stage, it leaves me wondering is it even worth trying to try to accomplish this feat? Has anyone even made it close to getting the final weapon?

 

In Lumiel there's a lot of people who were able to get the eternal weapon in the end. The main problem why crafting this weapon series is as hard as it was before 3.0 is because for some reason, no one has any idea where or how to get the design which let's you use 3 of your failed attempts to attempt one more time but with 100% success rate of getting the thing you wanted. What I'm talking about is the design which let's you use 3 heroic failed attempts to get a fabled one, this design is currently missing or the source is still unknown. I've tried browsing the NA retail forums to find out the answer but no luck. Now if it's worth it or not, personally I'd say NO. Why no if you ask? Vasharti weapons is just about as good. Noble Sky / Horned Dragon Emperor's Durable weapons has slightly higher base min-max damage while Vasharti weapons has slightly better bonus stats (ie: accuracy and such). If you compare how hard it is to get these weapons, you'd have the reason why I said it's not worth it not to mention 3.5 will come with so many better weapons than what we got from 3.0.

 

Darn, I'm trying to get an upgrade asap. My lvl50 quest weapon isn't cutting it anymore. Since it's so difficult get the final forms or any of the fabled crafted weapons, anyone know where to farm for a 55-60 greatsword or polearm? I saw some people selling Ravager's on Siel, where would I be able to farm for one? Or ones that are farmable solo.
