Not Fair ! GBG/ABG

So yesterday i finally farmed my AP to buy the GBG belt but when i wanted to buy it i wans't able to buy it and later i heared you need to buy it with VP/Credits.

VP/Credits can be earnd on 2 different ways:

VOting: Witch takes 1 year to get finally Full GBG (not everyone can vote everyday 2 times a day)
MONEY: Witch takes 5 minuts to get full GBG.

Seriouslywe need to pay for..

Well this is unfair outy: i think the server only want the money.

i know they need donations to run the server ofcourse but players without money don't even get the chance to get the armor they need, without paying.

ACD should be With Credits/VP But ABG/GBG not... making EGT free wont make us better players without donating.

some of you guys will say i talk crap cuz you guys already got everything with donating all the money u guys work for but i can't ,,, got alot of other stuff to pay.
This game is to relax and still asking Lots of money.

and people trade ABG(cloth) sets for other ABG(leather) sets so its almost imposible to get something.

PS :We are not required to donate but if you want to get some gear u must donate.. i remember a GM said we don't tell you to donate and thats thrue but atleast make ABG free (with AP points) and let people pay for ACD

Otherwise the only reason to gain ap is getting Xform :andy: i want my gear (=xform) and some pots ofcoursee :sideways:

why should you get it with plat medals?

its a pvp server and donations are needed so that it won't die fast

As you can see not everyone here donates, why dont u learn alchemy, crafting scrolls and armors (remodels) that would help you get a better stuffs than abg/gbg.

and this is a private server, donations supports the server to continue running.

 

dude.. there are instances.. arena is working.. and you know whats the best? mithril medal daily quests are working !

EAS is better than abg and you can get it with hard work ingame

when i started playing here i was in anuhart and i didn't complain.. i got my gear with hard work!

If you want abg items.. Vote and get 1 part every month

ps: i wish i had a lot of money.. and i don't donate

This is a PTS and you shouldn't work to hard for your gear cuz the server can go down anytime and wwhat you gonna do about it ? NOTHINGGG

Server can be wiped when the admins want then you lost all your hard work.. i already see poeple ingame duping what you gonna do about that ?

 

your complaint is like going to an "all you can eat" restaurant and complaining about the food costing you money.

It's not "fair" for Nuttela because he "has the money", it's fair because it's simply fair. We're the top Private Server, and we're a High Rates server at that. That kind of status doesn't come from expecting server bills to pay themselves. The donations money goes to server upkeep costs, ant-DDoS security, database reliability, good developers, and as best service as we can provide to you.

It takes 1500 credits to get a piece of ABG, so it might be around 15 days of voting. Alternately, the in-game price of an ABG set is relative to 3k credits in trades, making it much easier for you to get a full set.

In terms of statistics, you are becoming part of less than 1% of the community that is currently complaining about ABG/GBG not being obtainable in-game, and part of the maybe less than 5% that is complaining about high end PvP gears not being available in game. It actually is quite easy to obtain an ABG set with or without money. People now are not only trading them for credits, but for medals, consumables, crafting mats, etc.

I'm sorry but I find no point in this thread, honestly.

EDIT: Regarding your claim that our server's life span is unstable, may I remind you that we are currently the top Private Server for Aion, have been around for over 2 years now, and honestly as far as Aion keeps launching updates, I see this private server staying around.

 

The server is at the Top rank nr1 cuz we are voting to get items thats all..

We vote everyday okey ? we get alot of VP cuz we vote every day 2 times .. its like we don't even have a life anymore

So when the server wipes we lose ALL OUR VP ! ALLLLL so we lost all our no life voring for this server..

And the people who pay vor VP don't lose there VP cuz yeh they payed and that is verry important ... its all about money bro !

but the admin of gamezaion has been pretty smart & generates an income from people that have no choice but to pay for equips.

if you want to buy them with hardwork then play official

you can lvl to 50 in 5~6 days easily.
and a maybe a week or 3 to 60...

& then u can do your "hard work" without a dime spend on an AP set =]

you pretty much did, unless I am missing something. you are still claiming that your vote points go poof if you vote instead of donating. you keep thinking that the server will randomly disappear like if this was a runescape private server, yet you fail to realize the amount of time and effort put into this private server.

Forums engine used here? 400+ dollars to use it. Web page upkeep cost? 10-30 dollars per web page server, maybe more depending on the type of web page. forums, for example, consume a huge amount of space due to threads, gifs, etc.

Server databases (not only from Aion) are hundreds of gigabytes, all that adds up to the cost of the web page server.

Then we got the dedicated servers, along with host services and such, going anywhere from 300-600 dollars per server per month.. Add in developers, which don't work for free.

The amount of time and effort put into this Community renders your argument invalid, simple.

Closing this, since there really isn't a point in here.

Alright. I'll just hijack this thread here.

So..let's see. Yes, I agree with you that donations do provide a slight advantage being the fact that things will be faster over all. However, as Joseph there said it is still quite possible and relatively not to hard to attain at least an abg in game for some hard work (Fantaros said it as well).

Before ABG Became mainstream, most people ran around in Tahabata gear, which was by far easy to obtain though doing an instance a few times, now no. Current instance gear is not going to keep you up to par for long if at all unless you are skilled with your class though it can.

With that in mind, you are also able to trade for gold or plat medals in game, which well, can get you the level 55 Yellow, or if you get Plats, GPP / APP which is just a hair shy of ABG. Since you already say you have the medals for ABG, you can easily get the APP / GPP equivelant and therefore be on par with users who are not donning ACD / EAC.

Now, to just throw this out there. Once you acquire that set, you are still able to craft and vote and all the other fun things there are to do like PvP? No, you are not going to be in the absolute best gear, but I know plenty of players who do not have the top tiered gears and still do really, really well in pvp vs those other players who do.

As, Joseph said donations keep the server alive and kicking, with out them we wouldn't have this service. Yes, I call it a service because it could not be here due to whatever reason.

Is it fair that ABG and GBG are not in game? Yes, that it is, the same reason it is fair for NCC to not be in the in-game shops as well. It would alienate our donor base and with that happening quite quickly see to the end of the servers longevity which is something that well would be not to okay.

Personally, I have donated for most of my gear, and do I feel like I am superior to others who haven't? No, I simply see the items I got from it as a perk for helping the server stay running. I would have donated either way as I do enjoy the game.

I think, Joseph was a tad harsh in some of his wording, as I can easily assume that there are plenty of people who do not understand why we still keep ABG in the credit shop with EAC / ACD available there as well. Also, as he had said the Mithral Medal set I don't know the name off hand with out going to look and I am going out the door in a few seconds here. Is available in game, to which you are able to trade consumables for medals and such what nots here and there.

While yes, it is hard work to get the medals and AP required for ABG if you do attempt to do that, and I agree it would be frustrating to find out after that work that you cannot get the item(s) that you want. However, if you look at the flip side that there are methods to get yourself a comparable pvp set, while you are working to gain higher tiered gear (I can say this as Mithral medals are tradable with VIP afaik.) and then get yourself the level 60 Yellow set Archon Centurion? It is just a shy bit off of ACD itself.

Yes, ACD / EAC are the best sets right now for PvP Based states, however there are viable options in game to acquire gear that will work for all intensive purposes.

Now, seeing how there are plenty of options outside of pure donations, being voting, trading, working on getting other sets until you have credits saved from voting or donating (as you are not forced to donate the whole amount right off or at all). This thread serves but one purpose to vent frustrations over a matter that has been culled over plenty of times before in many other threads.

Do I, and the rest of the staff understand how you feel? Of course we do as we were there once ourselves and most likely felt the same way. But, the understand that there were other items that could compare while we worked toward those higher sets and having fun with pvp, friends, legion, random groups, instances made up for that somewhat. Because a good group should be able to overcome the odds.
