3.5 items.pak survey

Alright, so I started working on the 3.5 items.pak and the progress is good, retail loads it properly and restrictions are gone. However, I have a few questions that concern people's preference

Not sellable to npc - should i change this one? i know there are people who accidentally sold their item mall armor etc so im curious if i should leave it

Not extractable - again, people accidentally extracted their item mall armors before (or claimed they have) so wonder if i should leave it

Might be nice to get all that annoying text on items to go away, but then again there are always people who screw up and do something stupid after that

And yea chances are it might work for XP people this time since NCsoft split up the ridiculously huge file into smaller ones. Ill upload it soon, so I will need testers who have the retail client to try it out. You don't need to have a retail account, just a non downgraded 3.5 client to see if you get to login screen without errors. It will not work on downgraded clients because file structure changed.

Sellable, since we can repurchase the items.
Not extractable is reasonable, but in Anuhart items not at all, having craploads of anuhart items because nobody wants to buy them Q_Q.

 

well i could allow just anuhart to be extracted, didnt think anybody actually runs dp these days. would have to look up the item IDs of all the anuhart items that r not extractable (can blue stuff be extracted? think yellow weps can but armor cant, no longer remember)

anything else u wanna extract? any1 else have something to say?

 

Anuhart Weapons can be extracted, the blues sets too, if I found something else to be extracted I will tell you:3.

 

Leave sellable as it is because there is a repurchase feature so any accidentally sold items can be repurchased.

Extraction is a tricky issue. I've had a legion member telling me they accidentally extracted primal gears. On the other hand, there's sometimes those who want to extract their spare gears in hope of some nice enchant stones.

 

"leave sellable as it is" would mean leaving it unsellable xD i was planning to remove the restriction. i know repurchase didnt work here in the past, but i havent played here for ages so lost track

as for extraction, i guess i might just do anuhart. i dont think people would extract pvp gears and such for enh stones when they can sell it for more with VIP
