Crit proc.

Hi i got a question about crit.
I'm playin on sin and i got 788 default crit w/o buffs , and 888 w/ Clear focus.
My question is , is there a higher crit rate strike w/ Clear focus ?
I mean , some ppl say theres a crit cap around 500 for pvp lmao.
I tested w/ and w/o buff the crit chance proc on dummies and it's like same damage.
Wut u think?
P.S. : I wanna remove that skill from skillbar if it's useless ><

 

The cap of crit in pvp is 549.

 

I've tested it again and again now , not any higher result.
Conclusion : BB Clear Focus <3

 

noooooo if u have 888 critic in pvp u have to do 888-400(strike resist): 488 so maybe u need some food or scroll to get 550 of course not everybody has 400 strike resist

 

Why is it that difficult to figure how much crit you'll need? Just assume everyone has 300-350 strike resist, which means you essentially need 700~800 crit to have 40-50% proc.

If you believe have too high crit with buffs and clear focus, simply consider changing your manastone build...

 

500 crit = pve cap
pve cap + strike resist = pvp crit strike
strike resist is 350+, so pvp crit strike would be ~850 - 900+

btw, crit strike doesn't affect damage dealt, it affects your chances to land crits.

 

As jospeh said... Crit is only a Crit it will never make your crit dmg higher... but 800 crit plus is a much higher chance to crit on your target while weaving or Skilling.. SO noob Jullien keep your clear focus on your skill bar -.-
