Sorcerer have cap in Magic boost again!

I searched about this already on other threads but nothing!

So I don't Know if it's a bug or just a permanent solution, but i feel that the sorc's damage has been capped.

I'll explain:
In my pve set I reach 3600 magic boost, and Glacial shard on mobs/bosses does 19k and more, without buffs, and with buffs, 23k and more...
Now i can reach 4k or more in magic boost buffed, but the damage is the same even when i get naked, hitting the same with 2900MB on mobs....
I hope this is only a bug, or maybe something has been capped only regarding pve as I didn't try it on pvp at all yet.

there is other bug, now i can activate silence to a player and skill silence, so yu have both, making dificult to a single pot help if yu have some others debuf

 

Silence from godstone you mean? And soul freeze, right? It's normal o.o. Like having Blind godstone + blind from traps/skills, or silence from signet.

 

As far as I know, Magic Boost cap wasn't removed, but rather increased to 3100. Then again I can't confirm my statement at this moment, I'd have to check a few things.

 

23K Glacial Shard isn't enough for you? ..

As far as i know, you cant have double silence status if your affected by silence of god stone, then someone use silence skills like soul freeze on you the silence from god stone is over right by the soul freeze or other silence skill. but i dont know if there's a bug right now its been a week since im active in pvp.

on topic:
you should be thankful the MB cap now is 3k+ back in the 2.0-2.5 days its only 2.7k. My Build is full mr from weapon to armor i dont have any problem on pve or pvp,

 

If silence is stacking from godstone and skills then it is a bug.
They're suppose to override each other, similar to how root/snare spells work.

As for magic boost, for PvE the soft cap is at 2.9k Magic Boost, it is NOT a bug. For PvP, the damage you do on players will also be 2.9k MB calculations (even if you have over 2.9k MB). However magic boost is uncapped and if your opponent has X magic suppression, that's when you need 2900+X to counteract it and do the full damage.

 

I believe mb has been capped me and purell also have lower dmg and mb then before.

 

About time :kewl: Oh and same goes for pvp, damage is still capped even if you reach astronomical amounts of MB.

why should it xd its pve, doesnt affect u in any way. sorc always were nukers. compare how fast we go through our mana bar and how long it takes to get it back compared to other classes. in terms of dmg per mana we arent much different from anyone else

its not that different for dps if u add casting times compared to several skills per second instants of other classes

again lol people go "OMG HIGHEST DMG PER SKILL! OP!". geez

and yea in pvp u lose up to 900mb thanks to suppression, ignoring the fact that pvp sets r MA since every other person here has a full MR set

1* I speak in pve, and if I do 16k of glacial on a boss that has no magic suppression, imagine what I do on a full mr cleric and acd -. -The cap of magic boost has been removed in order to avoid that the sorcerer makes a glacial 1k, vs magic suppression, like assassin in auto-attack >.>

2* U can always see ur magic boost, on detail, go up, I said that the damage is the same as when the sorcerer had the cap OF 2900...

And no i'm not funny of my crit 26k cuz boss have more hp u.u....the sorcerer should never be satisfied....now when all class are more stronger than him .-.

 

You wanna tell me that there is any bad part about sorc? Oh, yea it's so painful that you lose alot of mana beside that you can just nuke a 8.4K Glacial Shard into a ACD Player with just pressing on 1 dmg-skill, losing as sorc is almost impossible but the good part is there is no good sorc here anymore, so yea

I don't have any idea since i'm still wearing EAT set, tribunus access and an ABG tome until now.

I need to stack full Macc to hit ACD people, ye i won on some terrible ACD players.

 

first of all thats bs, SS or didnt happen. i very much doubt a full MB would do that on an ACD set, MAYBE if it was a lucky crit and thats a maybe, our crit rate is pretty low.

again, take into account the MR sets every other person here has which gives them nearly absolute defense against MB sets (so technically u get hit 0s, which is less than any other build of any other class). also take into account the silence godstones every other person here has (check the black cloud trader, most sold item?).

yea i could go on. again the only thing people ever bring up is highest dmg per 1 skill (which is just 1 skill, it has cooldown? there r like 30+ skills per class? geez)

every class has its strong skills, max dmg per 1 skill is not auto-win, grow up.

You were probly a pretty bad sorc when you talk like that. No, i dont have a screenshot of those 8K+ Glacial Shards but tons of 7K Stormstrikes beside that you probly played on Siel since you talk about everyone runs around in full-MR since there is Sorc even more tard-like, i could let my Cat my smash on my Keyboard on Siel and she would kill people. I've never had a any problems against sorcs that probly because there are no good ones here since people like Ruiko or Ratsky don't play anymore.

And in 3.5+ everyone can run around with full MB because of the manastones and in 4.0 they get even more nukes, YEY!
