Crafting NPC

Well i was thinking,

It's been like 2 years since we last saw that crafting npc that used to sell all the things we needed to craft
potions,weapons,armors etc.

Wouldn't it be nice if we had that npc in pand,sanctum again? and buy unlimited materials to craft whatever we want..

Make it easier for the new people to craft their own pve armor instead of going directly to the deep..

Server will be 3.7 in some days with new sets etc. not everyone can donate.. and if someone does he still needs rank.
He/she can get it by a crafting pve set (the primal sets are hard to get with the ninja loots)

Hope you read this Alente and say your opinion.

At least bring that npc with all the material for Christmas

 

This is a great idea, i am playing for 2 years and did not know about npc selling all items for crafting although it was in the past. I am also a crafter and it is really hard trying to get materials although you know good farming places.... So this will be very helpful not just for me, but also for those who begin to play. In these days instances are rare and if you do often you do with random people, this has also a probability for ninja.... Even if you are in a legion.. like me ... a couple of weeks ago 6-8 players were online, and now it's just me...

 

I severely doubt you will ever see that NPC here again.

Hell we're still cleaning up from last time it was accidentally brought into the world, every now and then I stumble across an inventory with 100k+ piles of gold crafting materials =p

The fact of the matter is while it would be super to not have to do any work to get pretty much any crafted item that isn't really conductive to a healthy economy. It's worth mentioning there are players who dedicate the majority of their playtime to gathering, morphing, and crafting - these players are the backbone of the consumables economy. Simply tearing that to shreds seems pointless and I can't really see the benefit in it besides accommodating the lazier people out there. Crafting is currently an entirely viable route to trading your way through to the top gearsets, something I know several players do, without the need to donate.

That's without even giving consideration to certain crafted sets being highly sought after for their skins and rarity, devaluing those into arbitrary kinah amounts (especially with Kinah being so abundant) doesn't seem like a desirable situation at all. Hell the best fuses in the game are often crafted weapons.

This thread makes it sound like crafted items and gear are woefully inferior to everything else in every respect. In some ways that's true for PvP (A Master Drenium set isn't going to stand up to ACD despite being far better looking) but in others it's totally misleading - scrolls, potions, and NHDED (to name a couple) would like a word with you sir.

 

It's unfair on Goodrobot's part and all crafters out there farming 24/7 for mats, their crafted stuffs will be cheap. =P
