Fix for new item icons

Apparently some people have leftover files from the old items.pak in their Aion\Data\Items\ folder, go there and delete everything except for the original items.pak (should have around 35mb). That should let you see everything again.

i open aion/data/items and dont see any item.pak thta 35mb all i see is that 17kb,,, 44087 items

thats because the items.pak is somewhere inside that mess. sort by file type, that way it will be at the very top or at the very bottom of the list. keep it and delete the 4k other items, then it should work

this what it has,,, no item.pak,,, i delete this all and i got failed to initialized

 

coz u didnt do what i told u. u sorted alphabetically, client_items is under C, items.pak is under I, it was much lower. u ended up deleting the original items.pak along with all the other files

repair the client, it will put the original back and your client will run and show all the items

 

i already drag at buttom but no item.pak shows,,, maybe need to delete the folder and better repair it again,,, head aches!! lol!! all my aion players here are waiting to be fix!!!! i have 30 unit of pc all with aion games,,, so pls help a lot sir!! i need ur time.

 

i told u it wont be at the bottom unless u sort by file type, yours was sorted by file name xd there is a difference

anyways if u deleted everything inside that folder then yea just repair the client and everything will be fine

 

hey sir, I have this failed to initialize game 1024 something error... what to do?

 

not sure yet since this one can be caused by quite a lot of different things. the best suggestion i can give right now is this

Make sure your data\items\ only contains the original items.pak and nothing else
Delete everything in data\usa\items
Delete L10N\1_enu\data\zData.pak

try the game, if it doesnt work, repair it, if it doesnt work again i have no idea, u can try delete the bin32 folder exept for aion.bin and repair it 1 more time

well i've done everything... most of the problems i fixed, but there are still 2 problems left:

1. my greater stigma skill disapeared (spirit hypnosis I)

2. in the black cloud traders shop, i cannot see the ABG gear... and since i was planing on buying a ABG tome it confuses me, that is missing in the game, but it is present in the online (add items) section/shop... also the price for Enraged Mauricius tome in only 750 (not 1500) O.O... so my question is: where to buy, if i dont manage to fix this problem?

 

1st: Server side error.

2nd: You can get ABG from the NPCs now, it would be silly if they keep it in the shop. And I don't see it in the web neither.

And what's the problem with the price of Masta reduced? lol.
