Patching ERROR....

    my Aion Client Version is 3.5.0.0 when i try to update it it sents an error

    like this


    Error Code: 58 (FileGroupApplicationErrorRollbackNotAttempted):


    Errors occurred while applying the patch,


    and a rollback was not attempted.


    The product is likely in an inconsistent state and should be repaired or reinstalled.


    The patch application errors are as follows:


    HTTP status 404: The requested URL does not exist on the server.

    Rollback not attempted in NCSoft launcher

    Vista/Windows 7 only

    go to control panels -> users/user accounts -> user account control (last option)
    Vista - uncheck the box, accept, restart your PC
    Win 7 - drag the slider all the way down, accept, restart your PC

    there u go, forgot to update it since win 8 didnt exist back then, ill add it now, thx xd

    btw win 8 users will get the no server available to the authorization server error at login screen, no fix for that yet

    edit: the comments said the visual way to disable UAC on win 8 doesnt really do much so u might have to edit the registry entry, also stated in the guide

    no idea, im leaving today and will be back on the 8th of january or so. if nobody makes anything by then, i can look into it. if they do make a fix, give me a link to it so i can add it to the guides. thx

    i've tried to change the UAC But its still not working. The update is already been downloaded but when it installs the update From 3.5.0.0 to 3.5.0.6 an error..T_T

    that is because UAC restricts access to program files so it doesnt allow the launcher to change files there

    did you try the registry edit listed in the guide? did you restart your pc afterwards?

    run regedit to get to the registry (if that still works on win 8)

    damn win 8 lol

    ok close the ncsoft launcher entirely (make sure it is not running in the background), right click it and run it as administrator. that should give u all the rights

    ur last option would be to move the damn thing to a folder where u have access rights and update it there. windows and program files r very restricted

    im on win 7 same issue with u. from 3.0.0.0 to 3.5.0.6.
