hii does any one know?

Does any one know how to create there own Icon designs on there legion capes? I herd you got to save a .Icon file in your aion data file or something?

cant seem to find any guilds on the forum on how to .

Create a .bmp file (24 bit) and save it as emblem.bmp in your Aion folder, you can then choose that custom emblem option (next to change background colour) when you go to modify your legion emblem.

You can also have another file as your emblem, i believe it was .tga (32 bit) or something

It actually gives you instructions when you go to change it to your customised emblem heh

 

ty, but how do i create a 24 bit file? on a picture site?

 

I only know when you do it on photoshop (specifically cs5, other versions may differ), your emblem has to be 256x256 pixels.

When you save the file, you'll have to rename it to emblem.bmp
Underneath the file name box, there'll be another section for files. you can change which file you'd like it to save as. Click .bmp (i personally prefer bmp over tga)
After clicking save, a box will ask you and give you a box of bits you can choose from and ofc, you choose 24bit for .bmp or 32bit for .tga

Just a reminder if your emblem is rendered and you set it as the emblem, you might have to render it again cause your supposedly empty background is subsistuted with a white background. Wouldnt be nice to have a blue cape and a white square : P

Yesterday I was trying to my use an emblem from my computer I've done everything totally the same, when I press ok it says Cannot find the emblem.bmp file or the emblem.tga file in the Aion game folder.
I have no idea why it doesn't work...

i see, it has been like almost a year since i had a legion.

 

It was fine before it became 3.7, now they bugged it with this update.

 

i see, i am sure its on the process of fixing that slight bug., after ofc those more important stuff to fix.
maybe they just didnt notice... and with this thread.. they might tweak it for that.

 

I hope so xd, this is weird, I mean, some clients can see the "updated emblem", but some others only see the one before that, others only see the default one qq.
