I truly hope there isn't a daily thread limit if there is i apologize in advance because i never read forum rules =/

But on the topic at hand?
Does Gamez have any players/staff members that watched or read SAO?
IF so what did you like about it, and do you hope they will continue to make manga/anime in this type of setting?
What would you say to the WORLD as we know it re-creating a game similar to SAO..
    Would you play it?

    Verdict
    Yes.

I liked it, the LN is great but with some coherence mistakes that the author didnt see. The whole world setting is great, some lines are cheesy but is jap fiction with romance.

I am waiting for Alicizanation arc to be completed to read it. I had the most fun with GGO though Aincrad is the most memorable.

The anime made some of the flaws of the series more noticeable, but the series had a good success, most likely they will make a second season, though I wonder how they are gonna solve it. The next arc dont fit in the 26 chapters scheme and the author has the bad habit of never truly relate each arc with the others, except SAO and ALO.

The greatest thing the series brought is the whole concept of an unified code to make these virtual worlds, that you can move your characters among servers and play different games.

Being fairly realistic, the first commercial and usable quantum computers are to be expected by 2020 decade. If it were to work as promised, many of the concept of virtual reality as many imagine it will be doable; simply by the vast amount of data a single qbit can handle. But still to be seen I guess.

And of course a game like that would be a delicacy to play if well executed, of course trying to avoid the whole death game.

As far as the whole death game idea wouldn't be too bad just minus the death. The thought of playing a game and feeling the pain your character feels just sounds so amazing to me.
    AHEM
I personally liked the Aincrad arc alot better than Alf cause it just seemed more suspenseful to me, in ALF you die and come back, in AIN you either lived or you didn't. Plus it was the original setting of kirito and asuna which made for one of the best short love stories ive seen/read in a long time. I never expected that level of romance and action from such a rushed anime. I would have liked to have seen more floors climbed nd more boss battles. But it seemed they were too into trying to get to the end. Which puzzled me cause i assume they didn't realize how big a hit the anime was. They could've easily dragged it out for another 40-50 episodes. I liked it better than the whole .HACK idea and look at how many episodes that series published.
