What an utter load of nonsense.

We are quite confident in the security of our databases, for one if someone magically gained access to them do you think they would decide to rob someone in relatively low-tier gear? Hell I personally have direct access to our systems and not even I can log into your account on a whim - it's encrypted data.

Items "vanish" from characters when users do not keep their accounts secure. Chances are you had either been using a common/easily guessed password or you gave away your login details to a "trusted friend" and paid the price for that trust.

Because accounts are always the user's responsibility we suggest changing your password regularly, using passwords that do not consist of common phrases, never giving out your login information, playing in a secure environment (eg not a net cafe), maintaining up-to-date security software, and avoiding sites offering malicious/dodgy/illegal content.

You as a user are responsible for your own personal security and somewhere along the line you made a mistake. Trying to blame that on other people, or the server itself, is hyperbole at best and outright nonsense at worst. Wishing something to be true so you can assign the blame to someone else will do you no good.

Unfortunately as your account is your responsibility and can only be compromised by a lack of diligence on your part we cannot assist you.
