To answer the initial question, yes, your race needs to take 2 Tiamaranta fortresses before you could enter Eye of Tiamaranta where the instance is located.

I can't think of a good reason why you're making such a big fuss over someone who probably got ported in there when the instance itself is not working not to mention you're not even sure why he's there. For all you know, he was ported there to test something, simply hangout or whatever insignificant reason.

And now you're turning your own thread into a conspiracy discussion.

I could see where this thread is going and frankly, tired of seeing threads about conspiracy. You're not even able to provide something close to what we call proof. All you had are baseless assumptions.

 

I've looked into this and it seems the player Hoppy was ported in to test something, there's actually a GM on the map with him though you can't find GMs with that search panel.

I've spoken to the GM involved to ensure that doesn't happen again =) To answer your other question no becoming friends with staff doesn't grant you any special privileges and any GM granting favors to their friends would very quickly find themselves without a colored name... except maybe pink.
