Im just tell the story.while in elyos side trading the antros set jerkin im just curious and i offer my hac plate set but he add another items to we gonna deal but i heard in this forum antros will deleted thats why im just falldown myself and my items will be useless hopefully our staff will supposed to get collect any argumentplayer because it is unfair im just victim to other player..
Pls dont delete it..

ANTRO SETS = HAC SETS.. ohh so lol.. you can get 5 antro sets seriously if im become the trader.. ^^
bout the issues deleting antro items, i think the item still there for some1 already working hard to own it. However on the shop the items already remove or unbuyable. this just my guess btw since im not active in game anymore...

Really wouldn't shock me if the sets were removed from players, as it was pretty much known to be bugged and purchasable in-game, yet rather than bringing it up right away everyone decided to abuse the shit out of it again. Just like the Crucible stuff. Just like the GBG on merchants. Just like the ACD/GCD on merchants.

There's no ETA/Announcement as to if/when the Antro sets will be removed, or what will be happening with them. I would stay tuned to Alente in the next couple of days to further tell what will happen with them.

 

The right thing would be to delete them from everyone's inventory.

Why?

Because, while people knew it was bugged and purchasable only in Asmo side, they still bought those hoping that once they were locked again, they would sell them for insane prices.. Another reason would be that Elyos couldnt do the same, so if they decide not to delete the sets then i could call it favoritism towards certain Race.


I play both races and i havent bought the sets because i dont feel like getting an item that i shouldnt normally be able to get, an item that has a very good chance of getting deleted in the near future..

 

I'm sorry, but ABUSE? you are kidding right? How the hell is one supposed to know they are not meant to be bought? People are not buying them using cheats or exploiting something. People are paying the right amount of insignias for them. They are a working feature of the game which the devs didn't want to implement yet and forgot to disable!
LOL Should I start spamming the bug report thread? "hey I bought a sanctum scroll from the general goods merchant, is it lecit? or am I bug abusing?" "hey are kisks supposed to be purchasable..." and so on?

As far as I know this has been reported a week ago, maybe more. And yet NO ANNOUNCEMENT was made to let people know that they weren't supposed to buy them and that they could be wiped.

Get real. The staff made a mistake, it's no use for you to blame the players for it...

Then show me an announcement from the staff in which they told people not to buy those items, and not a reply buried in a random thread.

I'm elyos and I came back to gamez after 2 years. Last time I played was with the 2.7 and I found myself with the 3.7. So I went around looking for a pvp set to get. I discarded the mithril set because I thought that dailys to get medals were too many (I was considering the eternal one, because noone ever told me that those were only achievable through credit shop. And still there is no way a new player can find that out if not by trying to buy it from the shop).
So I went to the kaisinel academy and looked at the crucible pvp set and found a nice one, the gonon set. I started doing arenas with more than one character and after 2 weeks I managed to get enough insignias to buy the gonon chest. I tried to buy it but nothing happened. So I asked a gm what was wrong with it and I was answered (quite rudely, as if it was an obvious answer) that that set wasn't meant for players to be bought and to get a level 55 set instead.

Now picture this story on the asmo side: I would have bought the antro set and, surprise, I would have been able to buy it. So again, please tell me why I might have thought I was abusing the shop? There is no way I could have known.

I'm not saying some people didn't buy them on purpose, knowing they were not meant to (I still wonder how one could know but whatever) to get something out of them. But still you cannot put everyone in the same basket. Among the few that did it on purpose there are many who thought it was lecit.

And I repeat: this has been reported like 2 weeks ago and no announcement was made to tell the players they are not meant to buy those items. Yes they answered some random thread here and there but no sticky thread and nothing in the news.

So I'm sorry, but I think the one pretending to be stupid is you, since you can't see that for this "problem" the staff has at least the 80% of the blame; as they did nothing to prevent it. And still there are people buying antros sets today, I guess, and the staff keeps sitting idly watching. Maybe they enjoy waiting for more and more people to get those items (maybe even people who traded something for the antro set) and then, out of the blue, delete them all leaving people empty handed...

 

Guys listen me who have this ideea Like All armor and weapon decrease the pvp atk for weapon and decrease pvp defence for the armor... for the skin so much ppl want this and is nice the NCC armor or antros but we must speak whit 1 GM for this if like this idea is good if dont like nothing :x (sorry for my english)

 

Lets put it this way, ignorance is no excuse plain and simple. Even if there was an announcement of some sort the likely hood of "new" players to actually take the time to read the rules/notes/whatever is little to none till there is a problem. As far as bug abuse, Just the plain out fact that you know it is something that was supposed to be disabled and not normally obtainable through game explains your own question.

This plea to stop the loss of this items is useless, so give up because what more than likely will happen is they will get removed.

 

It doesn't matter it's purchasable or not , ppl who buy it are considered as abusers + the fact they know its a bug.

Sorry, but the issue has been known to AMs and Administrators for almost 2 weeks now and they didn't have the time to simply fix the NPC (what takes about 30 seconds) ... but rather call people bug-abuses afterwards?

That is exactly what I asked Alente 12 days ago ... directly and regarding this matter. Without any reaction.

So what do you expect other people (who are not that active on forums to read some blurry AM replies burried in some of the threads going like "yeah, but maybe they will call it bug-abusing and they will be deleted, but we can't tell what's gonna happen) to "know" ?

If Admins messed up and obviously were too busy or whatever (Tera?) to fix it immediatly, you simply can't blame the people a few weeks afterwards.
It is definatly not the users fault if you can buy stuff (that you shouldn't be able to) from an NPC.
Blaming people after for "abusing a bug" might be the easiest way with the least amount of "work" to put into to fix this issue in the eyes of our admins.
But it's sure the wrong one.

This issue wouldn't need any discussion if you took better care of what's going on on your server.
You could have resolved all this shit discretly within a day, but you didn't.

Don't blame your community for your own mistakes.

 

You and i have been here long enough to know that this is not retail and it will never be. ABG was blocked for over 2 years, EAC/HAC/ACD are blocked as we speak. NCC/NTO have been blocked for the past almost 2 years. So really, why would you think that Antro (a set almost as good as HAC) would be available only in asmo side while its equivalent sets (items that you already tried to buy and failed by the way) in elyos are still blocked? Because Alente and Carl decided that asmodians deserve some prize for being loyal players?

It is just common sense, something that you obviously lack or tend to ignore for personal reasons.

 

Yeah, that might be true for you and me, that's why we didn't waste any crucibles on those to begin with...
But you simply can't tar everyone with the "bug-abuser - you should have known better" brush xD


I'm not talkin about the "rich" kind people that had like a 500k+ stock of crucibles to begin with or have been around for years and just wanted to get some NCC remo for cheap now. Everyone with ACD items won't wear them for PVP purpose anyway but got them for the looks...
But what about Asmo people that don't have an Elyos char to crosscheck whats available on what NPC (who would do that to begin with) who maybe worked their asses off in the arena last weeks or traded some of their hard-work items to buy something no one ever told em they are not allowed to?

I'm just saying it's the wrong way to handle things and there could be other ways (that might invole some "work" and "time" to fix). ^^

 

I'm sorry, do you know me? I don't think so. So you really can't say "we've been here long enough to know it's not retail blah blah". I played a reaaally long time ago here and I didn't know Abg was blocked then. I'm not even sure abg was out back then or anyway I didn't have the means to get medals so I never could try to buy it from vendors.

Secondly, yes, if I knew if was blocked only in ely side and not in asmo side I would think something's fishy about it. But you're missing the point. Imagine a new player coming to gamez, asmo side, without knowing that in this server certain sets are not avaiable through the shop because he still didn't try to get them. He goes, sees this nice antro set, gathers the insignias and buys it. Then you go and call him bug abuser lol?

I'm not talking about myself, I'm ely, I don't have antro's set and I couldn't care less if they removed it or whatever. But calling someone bug abuser because he bought something from a vendor really bothers me.

Common sense? If by common sense you mean the ability to guess that a feature of the game shouldn't be avaiable so I shouldn't use it. Then yes, I'm seriously lacking common sense. I'll tell my shrink about it and get some help.
