Newbie Help on Console & Commands

Hi there,

'Been playing Aion for a while now and decided to give Gamez a try. I was looking around the main website and heard about console commands and such. I tried looking around here as well but could only find outdated posts.

How do I go about adding this console? Thanks in advance!

 

Only commands what you can use are the normal Emote like /laugh /sleep /sit and so on. Then you can use commands like .gmlist (to see if a GM is online right now and you can use .dye <colour> or <hex code> to dye your armor for 10.000.000 each dye. Then normaly the command .givemissingskills should work but this one don't work ö.Ö dunno why. This are the normal commands on the server for more you need to be GM

 

can i dye true with/black with that comand?

 

he meant the real console that got disabled around 2.6 or so, not chat commands. ud have to use the bat launcher and add -DEVMODE "con_disable_console = 0" to it as a parameter. it only works in some versions, depending on whether ncsoft forgot to disable it again or not

yea i think ".dye true black" will do the trick if i remember

Ah, perfect, thanks! Yes, I was wondering how to add the console.
When using the dye command, it costs 10m per use?

 

I'm not sure I did the whole console thing right either since I can't open it in-game.
Would you be able to tell me how to do that or link me how if you know of a thread that already has it?

You can't open any console anymore =p
The dye command uses 10m kinah to dye all the equiped items with the color / color hex that you used.
Also the .givemissingskills only works for Siel as it is full stigmas, in Lumiel it won't work because you have to choose which stigmas you want to use and equip them.

If you want to dye, open normal chat and type in .dye yourchosencolororRGBcode
Simple

 

you just type it in the chat

.dye black
.dye red
and so on

thats why u get confused lol. console = something totally different

.dye is a chat command, u type it inside ur chat, u dont need a console for it

 

That and I don't have funds for the dye command yet either. Silly me!

 

well im not into beggars but u could try asking nicely for just 10m for a dye, people here run around with 10 billion anyway so if ur nice they might give it to u xD

 

Haha! It's quite alright! I've seen my fair share of beggars and they can get quite irritating. Money doesn't seem to be too hard to come by here.
