About attacking range for sword / dagger

The one thing i hate the most is when people accuse me.
I have just tested the attacking range for both non extendable sword & non extendable dagger on the Training Dummy.
The range is 0m to 2m and NOT 0m to 3m. (maybe it used to be but sadly it isn't since 2.7 update, 3m range is outdated info)

If you have any doubt with it you can always test it out yourself again / find me in game to test it out.

Whats the point of this thread? Saying that puddles is wrong? I am sorry she said 3 instead of 2.

 

^ I believe the problem is that thread was closed prematurely thus ending all discussions. Seemingly making Puddles post more "righteous" because others cannot reply to it despite it containing contradicting facts.

 

The point is

1st - back to topic the attack range is indeed 2m
2nd - don't say that you have tested anything already if you have not done after the new updates as things might be different (this will lead to confusion)
3rd - by posting this thread allows me to explain the attacking range as the old thread was off topic + closed

i am NOT trying to insult / challenge anyone, that includes puddles. I just don't like to be accused ok?

 

I can re-confirm with ade. The attacking range for non-extendable dagger and sword is indeed 2m. The moment you move into 3m, your character will stop attacking. Even on 2.9m, (which is still shown as 2m), you can still attack.

 

Just get DDL daggers there extendable trust me if your going a physical class without extendables weapons its really annoying, But uh you don't really need extendable weapons on Sin. Sins can pretty much kill there targets before they get to chance to run... but thats depending on your gear, Ping, Build, and if you got woc2 or not.

 

What a contradicting post, what you just did in this thread was exactly what you are denying.

If you felt like Puddles accused you or she made you feel uncomfortable then you could have just PMed her. You are making a private matter public. And since that previous thread was closed, there was no need to bring the discussion back up again..

Now i understand that you are..

but nothing good really comes out when you are mad.

Forum discussion is open to everyone for posting, it just happens that others have discrepancy about my post related to attack range for 1 handed weapons.
So you are trying to say we can't correct the information given regarding anyone from the admins side?

On topic: I concur. I'd say the range was in 2m range for both sword & dagger.
