Client Help!

Hello!

I need some help~!

my AVAST has automatically detected and deleted some of my files including aionbin.

and now i cant find bin32.

where can i download it again?

or should i repair using ncsoft launcher?

 

made a guide for that one, thought avast stopped doing it by now, i still have an exception from the old days when it used to kill the aion.bin process

Client instantly shuts down after blue logo in the middle of the screen

Caused by the antivirus program (even when nothing is infected). Set an exception in your antivirus for the whole aion folder (or the NCSoft folder if you have aion in it) or temporarily disable your antivirus while you start the game

Avast - Real Time Shields -> File System Shields -> Expert Settings -> Exclusions and add *\NCSoft\* if you have aion in the NCSoft folder, otherwise rename NCSoft to Aion (or whatever your aion folder is called). This means that it will not scan anything inside a folder with that name regardless of where the folder is located. This problem started after the recent Avast version 7 update.

u should set the exception first, then repair the client to get the files back

edit: actually u might not have to repair, open avast -> maintenance -> virus chest and restore all the aion files

 

i cant restore it from avast

so i go to ncsoft launcher...

i right click the aion and click for repair...

but what is appearing is this

it says updating and not repairing...

then after the 100% it automatically goes like this

am i doing the right steps for repairing?

 

what version was ur client lol. the short update is just a file check aka what u need to have downloaded, the longer one is the actual update to 3.5.0.9. the thing is 3.5.0.7 to 3.5.0.9 was like 285mb so it sees something really wrong with ur client. well anyway just let it finish, 3.5.0.9 is supported anyway so cant hurt to have the latest version checked and working

either way if ur aion.bin goes away again ull have to set an exception in ur antivirus

btw my client before is 3.5.0.7

but when after the repair that continue to updating, it goes to 3.5.0.9 HAHA
