Sin dual wielding

I've searched for threads about the optimal choice of sin wielding weapons and I found quite some useful discussions. However, I was told that dual wielding is bugged in this server because sins don't do the right amount of dmg for s/s or d/d so the preferred way is to go d/s. Is this dual wielding still bugged?

 

Dagger/Sword is typically the best way to go currently. The damage boost from s/s is not working right now.

 

Thanks for the update on this, and would it matter if I equip sword/dagger aside from only noticing the .1 atk speed difference?

 

Most people equip dagger main hand and sword off hand for speed and dmg.

Having Dagger main hand doesn't only increase your attack speed, it raises your crit rate by a fair amount. You can wear full anuhart tahabata dag/sword and not need to use a single crit mana stone.

 

it's not been working for about 5months.. do you think it will be fix anytime soon ?

 

I use S/S and yes the damage is kinda messed up but there is a way to make s/s give proper damage :ninja:. What you have to do is have a D/S equiped and then log off and log on again once you have logged on just swith the dagger with the sword and walaa the damage is right . The only problem about that is that you have to make a habit of always logging off with D/S on and then once you log on you have to swith it. The best posible combo right now for an assassin is 2 abg swords you get a ton of damage and 1.1 att speed without any buffs with flurry it goes down to .7.

And the funny thing is that abg dagger gives actually less crit rate then sword.

so abg sword in main hand is still pretty good, since swords are two strikes weapons and you can do more hits when weaving. So this also solves atk speed proBlen, cuz you do more hits in... one hit.

I hope you understand something, i wrote this somehow weIrdly.

 

It does work, these is what I have to do everyday before I start playing my Sin since I have the 2 abg swords. All you have to do is equit 2 swords and look at the damage you get from each one it will be wrong ofcourse, then put a dagger on the right hand leave sword on off hand and relog. Now that you are back in game just get the sword and right click it on your inventory and It will replace your dagger that was on the main hand and that should do it, look at the damage now it should be almost 100 point higher on each hand giving you the proper S/S damage. I hope these helps not sure how to explain it any better

It just didnt increase atk at that time, so i didnt trie more.
Maybe it got bugget that time.

And whats your atk with two swords?

 

Hope it works for you it has worked for other Sins as well. I have all my gear with +5 att and I have 664 att in each hand without any buffs.

 

I guess I'll be using tahabata dagger/sword for awhile since abg costs too much lol

 

seriously how come they're not trying to fix it?

 

I think that these is been on the To Do list for a while but the servers have more important things to be fixed and I am not sure what is the situation with the Devs atm.

Hmm man do I know any of your toons? No no I am not no best assasin I can play mine pretty good but so can alot of other ppl. I am just trying to help other fellow Sins how I was helped when I was new. Long live the Sin class, bring on the sneakiness:ninja:
