cant seem to get Assault on Tiamaranta quest

ok so i made a new character fast leveled and got to inggi - then I tried to do the quest Assault on Tiamaranta - but the quest isnt there. Outremus is not showing it and Shureth (the girl NPC that you board the ship with) doesnt have quest.

I tried researching to see what quests you need to do as a prerequisite but got zilch.

Can someone help me please? I want this quest so I can use the flight patterns to go to places in Tia from the main base.

I got frustrated looking it up and trying to do previous quests for it. I already did the quest to appease Outremus by fixing the broken generators or something like that...

help please.

 

I tried doing the quest on my cleric and every mob I hit on the ship ended up 1000m below lol

 

i had the same issue back when it came out. it was really broken back then, still didnt finish it

if it makes u feel better, its kinda bugged on retail too, something with hostile states not changing properly. mine was fine but the girl i played with had issues

 

I can ask a friend for you how he got his to work because his got the same problem. That is if you still havent figured it out later on. I'm still at work xD

Also chaos and smartik. The quest you dont need to touch or kill any mobs, you simply go straight to the other side and talk to the npc 2nd from the left ( forgot his name ) and he will teleport you to the place where you finish the quest. its pretty easy.

 

lol i tried it the first day this quest came out xd it was really bugged back then. i havent tried since

 

Ah xD Yeah its fixed now, but some people for some reason doesnt get it and needs to do a diff quest before they can do that one.

 

My problem was I was only level 50! lol... You dont get the quest until you are level 54 and it just come automatically once you hit 54. HERP DERP!:andy:

 

i think thats normal - you arent supposed to kill them, its just part of the cut scene. Go hit the last guy at the prow/front of the ship and then the half winged boss dude will stop all asmo and elyos from fighting by putting you in an aether hold. Then follow through with it and you are done with the quest.
