what do you think is more hard punishment getting a temporary ban for a day or being in jail for at least 4 hours? ^_^

 

rather get jailed for since you can AFK on aion while doin some stuffs ( reading manga, watching porns :O / videos , listening to music )

and just to answer the question, if I'm in an internet cafe I'd take the ban any time, would not be pretty to pay just to sit in a green plane for hours doing nothing... (yes, that's exactly what I thought of when I saw AoE abusers and I jailed them, an entire year of aoes is about enough for anyone to understand it's not right.. >.>)

 

Jail time for 6 hours rather than temp ban coz you have to log in your account for 6 hours waste of time and money, while temp ban you just have to wait for 24 hour,

 

meh dual client, get on ur not-yet-banned char in the meantime and abuse there apparently

id say neither is harsh enough considering people make threads asking how much more they can abuse after 2 jail times and 1 warning before getting banned >.> aka "when do i move my gear to a new account so i can keep abusing"

Jail time is worse imo. There are many other mmo's or pc games or really anything else people can do with a temp ban.

Agree with this. 24 hours of jail would be a better first time offense punishment since you can't afk it in one go. Also I think VIP status should be instantly revoked and cannot be repurchased for 7days.

For 2nd offense, VIP status revoked and cannot repurchase for 30days. It might even be better if players lost part of their items or total credits. Items can be deleted or (a more fun route would be) entered into a credit raffle/auction.
Raffle: Players pay 250toll/ticket and once a week, items from banned accounts are re-distributed
Auction: Silent Auction. Players bid privately (with credits, no trades) and winner is annouced later.

 

Where I can see that Raffle? I want to try it.

 

just follow the rules and regulations of the game...no one get jail or ban either. im about to worry the lag during a bunch of elyos attacking besfer refugee camp.
