Economic Stabilization-Lets take it a step farther

Lol I played this game for awhile before i made a fourm account. Now im addicted to this fourm. I don't think they will do it either. But its fun to discuss stuff, i like debate .

 

Now I personally would support a complete gold wipe, if done right. But there are some dupe problems that we need to fix before such a wipe should be considered in my opinion. We've identified a couple of kinah dupes, and medal duping still isn't gone either.

 

With a Kinah cap of 1-2 billion you would not have to worry about Kinah dupes, only the Medals.

 

lol I got no problem with a gold wipe. Althought, there will be those people that will get mad.

 

Then you would know exactly how strict giving out medals are and how we had to fight really hard to even have the exchange from silver to golden.

 

I vote for an entire server wipe, characters and all! Who's with me?!

In all honesty the only way to entirely "fix" the economy would be to wipe all kinah and items in general, which I don't see happening at all. Simply because No one wants to sit down for three weeks and restore everyone who previously donated their credits. Not to mention all the people who would rage at the idea of having to do 3 DP runs to get full Anuhart again. :<
I said items too for reasons I will not disclose.

To all admins please think very carefully before having a big decision. Players will get mad and leave this game if your decisions can't satisfy our needs. Be fair and always think for the better of this community.

I haven't donated... so don't trey say its cause i have.... and id din't say those that donated... i said all credits...

But alot of you are diluted to think that there is gonna be some magical map and all your wishes will come true... If you don't like the way they do things here and gonna be emo cause your being ignored just shut up and go or suck it up and be here to say "told you so" cause your feeding the trolls.

 

Well since this server is highrate...you can get money from quests . lvl 40-50 quests give somewhere between 800k to 1.2 mil. So just doing some quests you get money to buy the items for your set.

As with the wipe option.. well i do not agree with it. Wiping a server must be it's last option. Why i say that? Because we don't know how wiping works...lol. You see there are 2 scenarios with wiping..

1st: You wipe the server and magicly all the players come back and start playing. The donation magicly contimues and the server is now healthy.

What really happens most of the time is this..

2nd : You wipe the server clean..everyone QQ, votes and donation stop instantly, server has low or no population. The admins can't pay for the server to run which eventually means that GamezAion dies.


Wiping from my experience can do those things pretty fast. I have only seen 1 ps that survived a full wipe. And it's not going well atm.

I've seen servers go from wipe to closing the server in less than a week. I've seen servers with over 5k population being reduced to 100ppl .

Wiping the server should be the last option of the admins .And my personal idea is that this nuclear bomb you call wipe shouldn't even be concidered for this problem.


Though capping kinah to 100-200m and doing quests to obtain money seems like a good way to continue.

 

Uhm here is what will happen eventually :

Donors will be a little stronger than normal players [ofcorse thats the point right?] but now see into the future , as there will be a pvpe setup , more than 90% of the time , the medals will be won be donors . [but they cant sell it , its useless to them. . Most ppl will just do it for fun or to help a friend . and yes most ppl will . I saw that in a event today with a reward of only 20 mil , ppl owning over 5 bil were participating . now 20mil cant be a big sum for them and i overheard them saying it was being done just for fun . ]

Eventually , while this may be okay for older players , it will pretty much kill the interest of the game for new players coz there will a very very large gap b/w them .

Ryang, I fucking love you, I'm just saying i agree with that idea more than I can possibly hope to express through mere words.

Again, I DOUBT Carl is going to do this, Why, you ask. Well let me tell you. I have not seen ONE single idea from these forums get implemented on the game, for some ODD reason Carl will think "OH NO PEOPLE WON'T DONATE IF THE MEDALS DROP." Again, we both know this is untrue, and you have a strong argument for that. It would drive server pop UP since people love special little things like that, and those who want their gear faster WILL donate. These 2 statements may seem like simple things, but for some crazy ass reason, as always Carl either does not care, or does not agree (that is ASSUMING he takes the time to read through forums LOL). As we all know, in this world money talks and bullshit walks. As long as money is being thrown at him (more like shoved down his throat, really) changes will be few and rare (Not to mention the problem with the Devs but thats another topic entirely)

All in all, I think you have (and have had) some pretty awesome ideas, and strong valid argument, but sadly it appears that is simply not enough to get some changes around here. But either way I completely agree with your statement (I really do freakin love your idea...... REALLY.... REALLY.... LOVE.... it...hard... what? who said that).
