Login problem

At the moment, I'm currently having problems with logging in. When I type in my account name and password and try to login, it only blocks the screen and I see that the game is still active and that it's not server's problem. Anyone knows what am I doing wrong or what's wrong?

It's about login, when you put Account name and password, before choosing the server and anything. When I type f.e. asdf and asdf it says that it's incorrect, but when I type my account name, it just blocks.

The number of people who claim to have forgotten their login in the past few days is ridiculous. One would think people would keep those things safe somewhere.

 

Yea. I personally just have a text document which I just type my PWs from different sites/games and then just back it up on a removable flash memory or Email or even your phone can do the job. That way even if something goes wrong u still have your passwords safe and dont have to worry about it if u suddenly forget one of them.

Id slap a ridiculous password on that document xd And yea that's what I usually tell people to do. Keep all logins at one place under just 1 password (actually a secure one) that you have to remember. Passwords that restrict editing can be removed instantly but passwords against viewing can be ridiculously hard to brute force xd

An 8 character password that can't be found in a dictionary or just pure numbers would take over a year to brute force on my PC xD The more character types you use, the more secure it is. Lower case is just 26 symbols, having an upper case adds another 26 to the list, having a number adds another 10, that means a permutation of 56 symbols with repetition allowed and order matters, which means 218,340,105,000,000 potential passwords. At my cracking speed of 20 mill per second it would take me 126 days to crack. If you add a special character, that adds countless more, though personally I would just make the pass longer. The change from 8 to 9 characters in a pass changes the total possibilities to 13,537,086,500,000,000 which would take 7,833 days (21.46 years) on my pc xD

This is a list i made when testing cracking speed and duration on zip files, just to get an idea of how much the duration changes based on types xD Again this is for my PC, modern PCs can do this at like 2-3 times my speed so you can really just cut the duration to a half/third. Either way it is still really long for secure passwords

Crack speed:
20 million passwords per second

Numbers only:
7 digits or less instant
8 digits 5 seconds
9 digits 1 minute
10 digits 11 minutes

Lower case letters only:
5 characters or less instant
6 characters 16 seconds
7 characters 6 minutes
8 characters 3 hours
9 characters 3 days
10 characters 80 days

Lower and upper case:
5 characters or less instant
6 characters 16 minutes
7 characters 14 hours
8 characters 31 days
9 characters more than a year

Numbers and lower case:
5 characters or less instant
6 characters 2 minutes
7 characters 1 hour 10 minutes
8 characters 1 day 20 hours
9 characters 58 days

Technically is, people keep forgetting passwords so we just told them how to make sure they dont forget and how to make sure those passwords are safe

 

Nope, I am thinking it's something with my files, or folders. It's still not working, and I can log in to other servers just fine. I know I'm not banned, but it just stucks.

 

Question now, is what operating system do you happen to be running?

 

My question would be what those other servers are and what versions they run. This can happen when the client version does not match the server and for windows 8 users that do not have the win 8 fix.

Also curious if it worked and randomly stopped working or if you just got here and can't get it to work.

 

I had that happen to me every once in a long while. Just close client and re-type usually worked for me. No idea what is causing it. =/
