cross- race account?!!

ok this is new for me i read in one thread below....what mean cross-race account??..mean if my account is elyos side and have for ex 2 chars ...i can have and an asmo char on same account???!!!or what?!:andy:...but how work this?..mean each char can use same warehouse but different sides?i can use same gear elyos/asmos??!!what advantages give me this kind of account?im curious!:andy:...i think if someone want to transfer some items from ely to asmos or viceversa buy vip and can do that you dont need to have this kind of dual-races account wtf is this?!!if you do an char on lumiel/siel and tranfer it you need 1500 credits to transfer to have cross-race account,but with that 1500 credits you can buy vip,make another asmo/elyos account and transfer the items you need via mail no?wtf you need the cross-race account for what??ty for answers.very weird this...:andy:

 

You pretty much answered your own question about cross-race account. It is an account with Asmodian and Elyos characters in it which is only possible now via transferring an opposite race of what you already have from Lumiel to Siel and vice versa. It serves a lot of good purpose as to why it is good to have dual race in one account. One is for trading purposes. The other is for PvP.

For trading purposes, it is easier to make transactions to anyone since their race wont matter. Sometimes it happens that the person who got what you need is an Elyos and you're an Asmodian or someone who's willing to deal with your items is an Asmodian while you're an Elyos.

For PvP, you can just put the items in the account warehouse if you wish to switch characters. Not just the easiest but also the safest.
I think your idea about availing VIP when you wish to move a gear is troublesome since you will have to spend 1500 for both accounts to be able to move your items freely. VIP only last for a month. Having a dual race lasts as long as you keep the race difference as it is. To move your items, you will need to dual client or use 2 PC, oh the trouble! If you plan to mail your items I suggest not to because it is risky, who knows when you can lose your valuable item/s because you mailed it.

 

Cross-Race account means that your account has both races, elyos and asmos. Yes, they share same account warehouse and you can use the same gear, the advantages are trading, ask for 1vs1 to your enemy, and if you get bored of playing only one side you can change whenever you want.

You don't need VIP to use your own account warehouse.

This works like this:

If your account is in Siel and only owns elyos, make an asmodian in Lumiel and transfer it to Siel.
If your account is in Siel and only owns asmodian, make an elyo in Lumiel and transfer it to Siel.
If your account is in Lumiel and only owns elyos, make an asmodian in Siel and transfer it to Lumiel.
If your account is in Lumiel and only owns asmodian, make an elyo in Siel and transfer it to Lumiel

Transfer service has a cost of 1,500 credits.

I have dual race in my account and the benefits I get from it doesn't end from trading and PvPing alone. I have friends both in Elyos and Asmodian side. By evening my Asmodian legion is more active while by morning, my Elyos friends are awake. With Elyos friends I get to run instances with them. Then by evening I run instances with my Asmodian friends. Trying to find a group to run instances was never a problem. I know this is also possible when you have like 8 Elyos in an account, you can run an instance 8 times but one of the good points of me having dual race is that, I was able to widen up my circle of friends in both races and whenever I also need or want something, I have my options.
