    I saw that noone in this thread pointed it out, so I will. Besides changing the system.ovr file, if you are on windows 7 u have to start the gamez aion launcher by right clicking on it and selecting "run as administrator" for you to be able to fly anywhere.

    thx gui! didnt think it would be that simple.

    I'm using Vista, so "Run as Administrator" fixes it on Vista too.

    my gf, who's using windows 7 didnt have this problem at all though, i guess it just depends on the computer.

    I fixed it for me

    I DID THIS ON VISTA
    What you have to do is find your system.ovr file and right click it and then go into properties. On the first page you will see a part that says "Opens With:_______". You want to go ahead and change that to "Notepad" and then open the file. Then delete everything that is already in it and copy and paste this into it:

    g_chatlog = "1"
    log_IncludeTime = "1"
    log_Verbosity = "1"
    log_FileVerbosity = "1"
    g_chatlog = "1"
    log_IncludeTime = "1"
    log_Verbosity = "1"
    log_FileVerbosity = "1"
    g_chatlog = "1"
    log_IncludeTime = "1"
    log_Verbosity = "1"
    log_FileVerbosity = "1"
    g_chatlog = "1"
    log_IncludeTime = "1"
    log_Verbosity = "1"
    log_FileVerbosity = "1"
    g_open_aion_web = "0"
    g_save_present = "1"
    g_auto_disconnect = "0"
    freefly = "1"
    g_freefly = "1"
    fly = "1"
    ng_freefly = "1"

    *Thanks to Acide1 for posting this*

    Still have restrictions

    I'm having flight restrictions as well, I added the line into the system.ovr file like you said, but when I started the game it would still say I couldn't fly in this area, I went back to the system.ovr and it had the line you said to add as well as this under it "ng_freefly = "1""

    Help please?
