In addition to my previous post, i think it shouldnt worry you a lot. Both of those brands will give you something nice to work with, intel might be better overall but i dont think amd would be much worse anyway, especially.. consider that AMD cpus are a lot cheaper than intel's. For 200 bucks you can now get the 8 core 4gh cpu of AMD while if you want the same processing power for intel you'd have to pay prolly 350-500 dollars. But if you want something cheap and good for your home PC then you should consider buying an i5, its really all you need (especially for aion).

Ive had my AMD Athlon dual core 3gh processor for 6 years already, my PC is on every day for most of the day because i let it on even if im not at home most of the times, and i havent encountered any problems. The temperature is low considering that im using a 14 dollars worth power supply. So i think it all comes to luck sometimes, ive seen people complaining about AMD temperatures and ive seen people saying that they cant multitask well with i7 processors.

I have an AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition Quad core 3.4GHz, along with an ATI Radeon 6670 2GB Card and 8GB DDR3 1333 MHz Memory.

It is pretty badass, and the processor overclocked to 6 core extremely easily without detriment to board/CPU. Also runs Aion max graphics no lag whatsoever, can dual client as well.

I'm running on : AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~3.8GHz | AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series 1GB 128Bit | and same with Vil's Ram specs. - not sure why i had this build. proc has the onboard gphx already lol..

I'm still thinking on Overclocking it, just waiting for my cooling hardware to hit the mail. ATM, 3 additional fans is all i have :) I'm still getting some few spikes with my CPU Usage for Aion Only which i dont know why. A bit of some FPS stuck ups but works fine for me. Max Graphix settings too.
