Wow? Magic Disappearing Acts.

I'm speechless to even explain this without sounding like raging. Okies Houses were implemented, hurray for something that was a 3.0 feature.

Players drained their kinah to owe one. Spend time crafting for furniture, all was good for like 5days. Then server restart and every single furniture/decoration disappeared? :annoyed:
What's the point of even investing time playing if the admins can't even run the server without wiping something in one way or another?

Remodels? Good bye skins.
Armsfusion? If you're unlucky, goodbye bottom fuse.
Housing? Good bye furniture.
Kinah? Soon to say goodbye.

 

That's why you don't invest time in a private server.

 

I just lol'ed how my EAC GS disappeared after fusing it to my DDL GS.

Nothing i can do since i got no proofs to provide. Funny shits lawl.

 

1) Remodels bug only happens when you use a skin, not an original one. (And even then, it doesn't always happen) Sure, we know about it! It'll get fixed.
2) Fuses dissapearing? Yes, happened to me too. If you fuse your weapon and log out right away it sometimes dissapears. Of course we know about it. It'll get fixed.
3) Housing? Furniture? Yea, we're aware of that one too.
4) Kinah? It's being done so that kinah actually has a value. Don't see how that's a bad thing for players to actually be able to buy nice stuff with kinah.

This isn't retail. There are things that aren't working perfectly, but the server is still one of the best if not THE BEST private high-rate-PvP server. No one is forcing anyone to do anything against their own will. The door is always open. The things that you are pointing out are not game changing and not something you can't play without for a little while until it gets fixed.

Be patient please.

Actually in siel kinah is valuable and you can buy abg and even HAC while in lumiel kinah is worthless because of that broker bug. So i wonder why did they decide to delete kinah in Siel where kinah is still very useful and not many people own billions. They should leave siel kinah alone if you ask me, people invested time to gather a few billions, unlike lumiel that definitely deserves the wipe. Just saying, it sounds unfair and cruel to rob people off their "property" which was obtained through hard work and not through a bug.

I disagree with that part. Everyone has a lot of kinah now. It's easy to make because people have lots of it so they don't mind spending it for random stuff.

We're all aware this server isn't retail. Sure things bug here and there but this isn't about things breaking. It is actually about things that WORKED for a very long time and player's items disappearing. I've always called updates the bane of this server's existance. The server is in constant need of updates to fix bugs but with each update, fixing a particular feature usually causes multiple other things to break in the process, creating a cycle.

Door is opened for sure so why do I bother typing these posts? Because some players actually care. We don't want to be an AM to state the obvious and generic replies "be patient, things will get fixed etc etc".
Armsfusion is a 2.0 feature, remodels is 1.0, the ironic thing is that in the past, these bugs never existed and there was no worries about things vanishing. Fortunately I have not been a victim of these bugs but I do feel sorry for those whose effort goes down the drain.

Kinah decrease is acceptable to a point. I don't mind my kinah getting decreased to counter inflation. However think of the consequences of things, Kinah will always increase, it is inevitable since the longer the player stays the easier it is get richer. Siel players are innocent (I play on Lumiel) and they still get the short end of the stick. I wouldn't be surprised if some player's kinah completely gets wiped in the process since there had been cases of missing inventory items from just implementation of the special cube.

 

And you made this thread because? There aren't enough threads about this already? We're all in the same ship. It's not only you that has to deal with the issues. We all do.

What reply do you want? What else did you expect to read when you made this thread? I honestly don't understand.

I posted this thread because there isn't any previous mention of the missing furniture stated throughout the forums. It allows others to become aware of the misfortunes of one so others do not suffer the same consequences. The AMs might be aware of it but were the players informed? Why don't you actually inform people at first notice about these bugs instead of waiting for people to report it to give the same reply? An announcement ingame is certainly not viable, not everyone logs in at the same time. Least on the forums, it can be accessed at ease.

You know why there is so many threads? Oh maybe because these things just keep reoccuring? Because people are misinformed. Nothing tells players trading in relics for AP is an "exploit" when it is perfectly acceptable on retail or other servers. No one is telling other players that even though houses are working, do not place anything inside it because it will get wiped (until of course AFTER they placed their items). No one is telling others do not immediately log out after weapon fusing so you don't lose you fuse.

 

Fine, you want a thread which informs people about all this stuff? give me a few mints, ill create one and stick it. I'm just too tired to listen to such useless rage/complain threads. they dont change anything.
